Review: LUNA Protein Berry Greek Yogurt Bar
LUNA was a big start of review in the early days of the blog and over time, I've cranked out seventeen past reviews (as of this writing). Primarily designed for women, I've decreed that it's okay for men to eat them too, thus I happily eat them. A recent trip to Kroger allowed me to discover one of their new (to me) flavors and I snatched up this LUNA Protein Berry Greek Yogurt Bar for $1.25. The bar itself clocks in at 1.59 ounces and 170 calories with twelve grams of protein. It's gluten free for those that are so inclined as well.

Review: LUNA Chocolate Cupcake Bar
LUNA products were something that I reviewed frequently in the early days of the blog as they were easy to get my hands on at the stores. I reviewed them so frequently that I eventually ran out of flavors to look at unless they released a new flavor out into the stores that I had never seen. Eventually I stopped looking at the LUNA section because it was the same sold stuff each time. Anyway, on a recent trip to Kroger, I just happened to look at the LUNA section of the shelves and saw a newly released flavor and that leads to today's review of this LUNA Chocolate Cupcake Bar. It's the first time in well over a year that I've looked at one of their bars and this gluten free bar cost me $1.00 and it weighs in at 1.69 ounces with 180 calories and nine grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Protein Chocolate Coconut Almond Bar
LUNA bar, where art thou? It has been since October 2013 since we have met, so I was starting to miss you. Okay, maybe I wasn't missing LUNA, but it was nice to see that they introduced a new product that I was able to gather via a free sample. That free sample of this LUNA Protein Chocolate Coconut Almond Bar was delivered to my mailbox and my first thought was, "haven't I reviewed this before?" Suffice it to say, nothing about this bar seemed "NEW" to me at all. After a careful examination of my review archive, I did find out that this bar was in fact new and therefore deserving of a review. So, this free sample bar clocks in at 1.59 ounces with 180 calories and twelve grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Toasted Nuts 'n Cranberry Bar
I've lamented on many occasions how rare it is for me to find a flavor of nutrition bar in my regular grocery haunts that I haven't tried before and it's becoming frustrating in terms of generating new content for the blog. Every now and then though, a new flavor will sneak up on me and that is the case for this LUNA Toasted Nuts 'n Cranberry Bar that I picked up on sale at Kroger for $1.00. Like the others I've reviewed, this bar is technically designed for women, but I think it's okay if I try one out. Would you agree? Anyway, the bar itself is 1.7 ounces and has 170 calories and nine grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Protein Mint Chocolate Chip Bar
I've mentioned countless times that the combination of mint and chocolate is not exactly my favorite flavor combination. There's some products that I can tolerate, but I've had several bad experiences in my life where the mint flavor overwhelmed the chocolate flavor and it made it seem like I was eating/drinking mouthwash. Because of that, I tend to stay away from that flavor combination when picking out products to review, but in the case of today's review, I went ahead and took the leap and picked up this LUNA Protein Mint Chocolate Chip Bar on sale at Kroger for $1.00. This bar adds to my expansive LUNA review archive and the bar itself comes in at 1.6 ounces with 170 calories and twelve grams of protein. So, while it does have a fair amount of protein, it's not nearly as calorie heavy as a lot of these protein bars can tend to be, which is nice.

Review: LUNA Chocolate Dipped Coconut Bar
It seems like I've been on a big LUNA bar kick recently as I've been typing out these reviews. I've been devouring LUNA Fiber bars left and right, but today, I'm back to a classic LUNA bar with this review of the LUNA Chocolate Dipped Coconut Bar. I picked this one up at Kroger for $1.00 and it comes in at 1.69 ounces with 190 calories and nine grams of protein. LUNA bars are designed for women, but it's okay if men eat them too, right? I mean, it's okay that girls are in the Boy Scouts, so I think I should be able to eat LUNA bars!

Review: LUNA Fiber Vanilla Blueberry Bar
I've had some really good experiences with LUNA Fiber bars so far, although those past experience have included chocolate as one of the ingredients, so it they had a leg up solely because of that. Stepping outside of that realm for the first time, it's time to review the LUNA Fiber Vanilla Blueberry Bar that I picked up on the same shopping trip as the others at Kroger for $1.00. Also like the others, this one weighs in at 1.41 ounces. It's 110 calories, has a lonely gram of protein and naturally, since it's a Fiber bar, has a solid seven grams of fiber.

Review: LUNA Fiber Chocolate Raspberry Bar
While I've had varying success with LUNA products on the blog in general, my first experience with a bar from their new Fiber line of products was delightful, so to say I was excited to do a second review of this LUNA Fiber Chocolate Raspberry Bar would be an understatement. The last one was delicious, so this one had to be delicious too, right? Well, it doesn't always work that way and that's why I do reviews. I picked this one up on sale at Kroger for $1.00 and it comes in at 1.41 ounces with a economical 110 calories and two grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Fiber Peanut Butter Strawberry Bar
LUNA bars have kind of a hit or miss history on this blog, which kind of fits along with their parent company CLIF, who has a similar history here.. I've found some of them to be bland and/or awful, while I've found others to be pretty darn good. Hoping that this next bar, and the first one from their Fiber line, will be more of a hit, I picked up this LUNA Fiber Peanut Butter Strawberry Bar at Kroger on sale for $1.00. It's a soft-baked fruit-filled bar, so it's got a lot of hyphens. It's also fiber intensive with seven grams of fiber and comes in at 1.41 ounces with 120 calories and two grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Protein Cookie Dough Bar
I've declared my love of cookie dough here on the blog before and seriously, what person doesn't love cookie dough, especially eating it its raw form? Great, now my mouth is salivating as I type this review. Time to focus...so, I've reviewed plenty of LUNA bars before, normal and protein kinds, and now its time for another review with this review of the LUNA Protein Cookie Dough Bar that I picked up at Kroger on sale for $0.99. This one comes in at 1.6 ounces and is 170 calories with twelve grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Lemon Zest Nutrition Bar
I was in The Dollar Tree recently buying my energy shots that I take on a daily basis and while standing in the checkout line, a pile of LUNA bars caught my eye. I figured that it had been a while since I had either eaten or reviewed a LUNA bar for the blog, so I went ahead and grabbed this Lemon Zest bar and now we all get the pleasure of my review! Like I said, I got this at The Dollar Tree, so it was obviously $1.00. The rest of the pertinent stats on the bar include a weight of 1.69 ounces, 180 calories and nine grams of protein. Being that LUNA is made by CLIF, this one also focuses on being primarily organic, so it's 70% organic as well.

Review: LUNA Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar
LUNA bars are part of the CLIF Bar family, so it seems only fitting that LUNA offers a wide variety of product lines since their parent business does as well. I've taken a look at several LUNA bars already, but this is my first dip into their LUNA Protein line with my review of this pretty standard flavored LUNA Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar. I picked this one up at Meijer for $1.09 and it weighs in at a semi-decent weight of 1.6 ounces and has 190 calories and twelve grams of protein, which of course is more protein than a standard LUNA bar because this is part of the Protein line. Duh!

Review: LUNA Peanut Butter Cookie Nutrition Bar
Despite the fact that they are for women, I've found most of the LUNA bars that I've tasted to be quite good. In fact, I'd say that I enjoy the majority of them, so based on that, I was anxious to try out this Peanut Butter Cookie nutrition bar and see how it stacked up against some of their other products. I picked this one up at Meijer for $1.09 and it weighs in at 1.69 ounces with 180 calories and nine grams of protein. As with all LUNA bars, it's all natural and 70% organic.

Review: LUNA Nutz Over Chocolate Nutrition Bar
In my initial LUNA review, I covered that I was not a woman, but I just want to make sure I get that point across again as I'm led to do another LUNA review. This time, it's the Nutz Over Chocolate nutrition bar. Being that LUNA is made by CLIF, this bar is of course all natural and 70% organic. I picked this in the aforementioned sale at Kroger for $0.99 and it weighs in a relatively light 1.69 ounces and contains 180 calories and nine grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Peanut Honey Pretzel Bar
We've been through this before in LUNA reviews...I know I'm not a woman, but that doesn't stop me from trying out these bars, especially when some of them have been so good. Recently, I stumbled across one of my favorite things in the world (free giveaways) on the website FreeStuffTimes.com and saw that there was a giveaway for LUNA's new Peanut Honey Pretzel bar, so I hurriedly signed myself up and a few weeks later, this arrived in the mail. So, I don't have a price since I didn't pay for it, but I do know that it weighs 1.69 ounces, has 190 calories and also nine grams of protein.

Review: LUNA White Chocolate Macadamia Nutrition Bar
I've covered before how I don't think I look like a woman and was duped/bullied into buying these LUNA bars that are specifically made for women, but since I was duped, I might as well finish reviewing my purchases and that leads me to the White Chocolate Macadamia Nutrition bar produced by LUNA (a subsidiary of CLIF, so this fits right in with the theme of the week). This one is 70% organic and weighs in at 1.69 ounces with 190 calories and nine grams of protein. I picked it up on Kroger (from the bully) for $1.00.

Review: LUNA Chocolate Peppermint Stick Nutrition Bar
I know the packaging on this says Happy Holidays and makes shopping references, and while peppermint is technically a holiday flavor (at least it is marketed that way), I realize that I'm a little late on this review. Since I only got this late last week for free from LUNA, it's not entirely my fault. Also, after my experience with the CLIF Peppermint Stick bar, I was not exactly anxious to try this one out (LUNA is part of the CLIF family of products, so they have to be similar, right?). With that said, let's dive in and review the Chocolate Peppermint Stick nutrition bar. As always, LUNA bars are designed for women (men can eat them too!) and are 70% organic. This bar in particular weighs in at 1.69 ounces with 180 calories and eight grams of protein.

Review: LUNA Caramel Nut Brownie Bar
Last I checked, I look like a man. A somewhat diminutive man, but a man nonetheless. Despite this fact, a sample lady at Kroger made a point to try to push this LUNA Caramel Nut Brownie bar (along with others) on me during a trip to her store and not paying attention to the label where it indicates these bars are for women, I bought her sales pitch hook, line and sinker. So, despite the fact that I'm not a woman, I did make the purchase and don't want to waste money, so I'll review this and some other LUNA bar flavors that I picked up in the future. This one was $0.99 and contains 180 calories and eight grams of protein. FYI, LUNA bars are manufactured by CLIF, so they are all part of the same family and that means that the bars are mostly organic (this one was 70%) and are all natural products.
