Review: Muscle Milk Vanilla Almond Yogurt Protein Crunch Bar
Muscle Milk products tend to scare me, but as I mentioned in a prior review, I saw some of their bars in Kroger recently and when they were tagged with the "NEW" label, I knew I couldn't resist picking a couple up. This Muscle Milk Vanilla Almond Yogurt Protein Crunch Bar is the second of that purchase and like the last, I got this for $1.99. This beefy bar comes in at a robust 2.8 ounces and powerfully packs 350 calories and thirty grams of protein. Nothing about this bar says diet...it all says muscle. Kind of makes sense due to the manufacturer, eh? Yeah, I'm pretty bright.

Review: Muscle Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Crunch Bar
As we've learned throughout the years, names are just names and they don't really have to mean anything. For example, in my neck of the woods, the major collegiate athletic conference is called the "Big Ten." You'd think tat would mean that there were ten schools, but au contraire, you'd be incorrect. Since 1992, there have been a minimum of eleven schools that has now grown to twelve schools and starting this fall, there will be fourteen schools. In America's heartland, there is a conference called the "Big Twelve" that has...wait for it...TEN schools as members. Anyway, I mention this because the source of today's review comes from a manufacturer that has focused on drinks in the past and I've done prior reviews on some of those drinks (and also one of their bars), so their name made sense. With today's review of this Muscle Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Crunch Bar, the manufacturer name no longer makes sense and just really becomes a name like those collegiate conferences. Anyway, I picked this one up for $1.99 at Kroger and it comes in at a beefy 2.9 ounces with 360 calories and a muscle popping thirty grams of protein.

Review: Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar
I've always known that Muscle Milk has its own line of nutrition bars, but I've always stayed away from them because I've primarily viewed them as being for the meathead types. I know I've reviewed those types of bars on this blog before, but for some reason, I drew the line with Muscle Milk. Despite that, I've had several of their protein shakes and have had a wide range of experiences with them. With that ridiculous explanation now over, I was recently cruising through Meijer recently when I saw that Muscle Milk now had a light line of mars that were "New! Improved!", so I figured then was as good of a time as any to grab one for a review. This Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar itself set me back $1.33 (on sale) and is 1.59 ounces with 170 calories and fifteen hearty grams of protein.

Review: Muscle Milk Strawberries 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake
In previous Muscle Milk reviews, I've been pleasantly surprised each time by how much I liked their protein nutrition shakes. I went in each time with low expectations and each time, they far exceeded those expectations to make a quality product. Expecting that experience again, I figured I would dive into another Muscle Milk product with this review of their Muscle Milk Strawberries 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake. As with all of these, I picked it up at Thornton's in a free promotion and in an occurrence of hilarity (in my mind), this one has sat in my refrigerator for eight months and still has a comfortable amount of time before its shelf life expires. Wow, these dairy free products (translation: pure chemicals) are amazing. Anyway, a fourteen fluid ounce container of this shake is 220 calories and has 25 grams of protein.

Review: Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme Protein Shake
Sometimes I get too cute for my own good. In my reviews of these protein "shakes", I often mock them for their long shelf life and/or the fact that they call themselves shakes. For some reason and no matter if the manufacturer is Atkins or Muscle Milk, I just can't get over it...until now. I'm turning over a new leaf (or whatever) and I'm just going to start reviewing these shakes for what they are and my first attempt at that is going to be a review of this Muscle Milk Vanilla Creme Protein Shake. I picked up this fourteen ounce shake for free at Thornton's Fuel Center as part of a free promotion and each bottle contains 220 calories and 25 grams of protein. It's both naturally and artificially flavored too, if you are interested.

Review: Muscle Milk Cookies 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake
Via this blog, I've eaten more protein bars than I could ever imagine and frankly, I'm starting to get sick of them. I've had several to review in my refrigerator for quite a while now, but I have little to no motivation to eat any of them. One thing I haven't spent a lot of time reviewing is protein shakes (I've only done one drink review), so that leads me to this review of the Muscle Milk Cookies 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake. I picked this for free via a coupon at Thornton's Fuel Center, so I don't know what the price was exactly, but I believe it was in the $3.00 range. This one comes in at fourteen ounces and 220 calories with a whopping 25 grams of protein.
