Review: Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Peanut Butter & Chocolate No Gluten High Protein Bar

If I were ever so inclined to start a nutrition bar company, which I don't think I ever will be, I already know what the first flavor that I will put out will be.  It's perhaps the easiest flavor combination there as it appeals to a large majority of the population.  I would equate it to an empty net goal in hockey.  All you have to do is aim in right (or produce the bar in the food manufacturing example) and you are going to score (or produce revenue).  If you haven't figured out what I'm talking about yet, look no further than the name of today's review topic as I'll be taking a look at this Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Peanut Butter & Chocolate No Gluten High Protein Bar.  Peanut butter and chocolate...about as simple as you can get and it appeals to TONS of people out there.  Not very creative, but why do you need to be creative when something works?  Pointless rambling aside, I picked this one up to add to my review collection at Marsh for $2.49 and it comes in at 1.93 ounces.  It's also got 230 calories and twenty grams of gluten free high protein.

Review: Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Berries No Gluten Paleo Bar

Some people might be able to argue that Elisabeth Hasselbeck has invaded the hearts, minds and souls of our life.  I would argue that she's invaded my local Marsh grocery store as I've picked up yet another bar for review.  This time, I'll be taking a look at the Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Berries No Gluten Paleo Bar that I was able to get at that aforementioned Marsh for $2.49.  This bar is 1.50 ounces and 180 calories with four grams of protein.  It's gluten free and paleo as well, so there you have it.

Review: Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Nuts No Gluten Paleo Bar

My last (and first) NoGii review led off talking about how polarizing a character Elisabeth Hasselbeck is, so the fact that the bar was so bland and boring was amusing to me.  Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but I decided that NoGii should get another shot on the blog in search of perhaps a better experience than I had already had.  Everyone has a boring product every now and then, right?  Why would NoGii be any different?  So, it is with that perhaps sense of unfounded optimism that I picked up this Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Nuts No Gluten Paleo Bar at Marsh for $2.49.  It's 1.50 ounces and 200 calories with five grams of protein.

Review: Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Tropical Fruit No Gluten Paleo Bar

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is quite the polarizing character.  Survivor, The View, etc.  It would only be natural that someone that polarizing would make a nutrition bar, right?  Okay, maybe that isn't the case.  However you feel about her, I was at least interested to try out another product, no matter who was associated with it and that led me to make this purchase of an Elisabeth Hasselbeck's NoGii Nuts About Tropical Fruit No Gluten Paleo Bar that I picked up at Marsh for $2.29.  The bar itself is 1.5 ounces and consists of 190 calories and four grams of protein.  It's also gluten free, so it's got another tick in the health column in addition to being paleo (natural).
