Review: belVita Soft Baked Oats & Chocolate Breakfast Biscuits

I wish I had done a better job of categorizing Free Friday Download posts because it seems like the Kroger promotion is starting to account for a fair amount of reviews.  Today's review is another one of those instances as a recent coupon promotion allowed me to pick up a box of these belVita Soft Baked Oats & Chocolate Breakfast Biscuits at of course no cost to me to add to my modest belVita collection.  Within each box are five soft baked biscuits and each biscuit clocks in at 1.76 ounces and has 200 calories and 3 grams of protein, in addition to some "Nutritious Morning Energy."

Review: Chips Ahoy! Dulce de Leche Ice Cream Creations Cookies

I don't hide the fact that from time-to-time on this blog, I go for the big hitter reviews of something that is completely junk food in order to drive traffic.  Today's review is one of those instances.  I was especially led to to do this because not only do I love junk food (to my own detriment), I also love free stuff and Meijer gave away a package of these Chips Ahoy! Dulce de Leche Ice Cream Creations Cookies for free as part of a recent mPerks promotion.  Score!  Anyway, this package contained eighteen cookies and that was nine servings (my great math skills tell me a serving is two cookies).  Each serving (two cookies) clocked in at a very junk food-esque 160 calories.  So, long story short, the aim of this review was to not eat the entire package in one sitting.  Spoiler Alert:  I only ate half the package.

Review: Oreo Limited Edition Marshmallow Crispy Cookies

Okay, okay...I know I'm kind of selling out with this review.  Admittedly, I don't always review healthy foods as I've reviewed my fair share of desserts (ice creams, etc.), but this blog is a business for me after all and I want to generate the page hits that a review like this will bring me.  Sorry.  Anyway, I believe this is the first time I have ever ventured into the junk food category with today's review of this package of Oreo Marshmallow Crispy Cookies that I somehow got sent to me in the mail in one of the countless promotions that I signed up for (lucky me!).  Anyway, this limited edition (they have also introduce a Cookie Dough flavor) package of cookies weighed in at 12.2 ounces and had twelve servings (two cookies per serving) and each serving was 140 calories.  Not exactly a diet food, but I clearly knew that going in.

Review: Nabisco SnackWell's Peanut Butter Cereal Bar

I was pleasantly surprised in my last SnackWell's review.  I expected something relatively boring, but what I got instead was something that I thoroughly enjoyed and that heightened my expectations for my next review of this Nabisco SnackWell's Peanut Butter Cereal Bar.  Now, the only flavor in this bar is peanut butter, so I couldn't expect it to be all that spectacular, but after my last experience I just couldn't help the large expectations.  I picked these up at Marsh for $2.99 and each box comes with five bars weighing 1.23 ounces per bar.  Each bar has 140 calories and has a moderately surprising eight grams of protein.

Review: Nabisco SnackWell's Cinnamon Raisin Cereal Bar

In my continuing voyage through the incredibly competitive cereal bar market, which is mystifying to me by the way, I've got another review of a bar that I've received via my favorite time of the day...company snack time!  Naturally, I didn't pay for this (my hard work did), so I can't identify a cost.  What I can identify is that this Nabisco SnackWell's Cinnamon Raisin Cereal Bar is 1.23 ounces with 140 calories and a surprising eight grams of protein.  It's my first ever review of a SnackWell's product, which is one the huge list of mass marketing product manufacturers, so we'll see how this goes.
