Contact Me

I've officially crossed the threshold and have arrived as I am now receiving "constructive criticism" e-mails from manufacturers who contest my reviews.  Because of this, I'm posting my e-mail out in plain view (it had been on the site before, but was not as readily accessible) so that any manufacturer or reader can contact me with any issue or question that they may have.

That's it.  Feel free to contact me any time you want.  I love the interaction and I appreciate the fact that I do have readers!

Have a great day!

  1. Review some more quest bars. Love those things, you can request some samples seeing as they just recently came out with an all natural line

  2. I was searching on the internet trying to find some reviews on Morningstar meatless products, and came across your site. I have to say I'm disappointed because you advertise as being "healthy", however, you review a lot of crap that is made in a lab or purely processed. I guess if your only measurement of healthy is calorie content and not the actual ingredients, perhaps you're healthy? But I think you should make that clear, people are already clueless enough as it is about how incredibly terrible packaged food is for you. So, when you promote things like Lean Cuisine as being a good buy, you're misleading people into buying crap that their body can't process.

    1. I fully admit I'm not perfect, but if you look at my history and how I've managed to eat this way and lose weight, I would say that I've been successful. Will my eating plan work for everyone? Absolutely not. Has it worked for me? Absolutely. My only objective is to tell people what packaged foods to use their money on if that is their only option, because everyone knows that fresh foods are almost always better for you.

  4. I really like the Chocolate Craze bars. Although it may seem a little gross or even slightly repulsive, I especially like to knock down bites of the bar with a little diet coke, creating a sort of tingling slurry effect for the taste buds. (May be best to limit this method to meals eaten alone.) My only problem with Chocolate Craze is finding local stores that keep them consistently in stock. On the other hand, they can be ordered from Amazon, etc. Thanks for your reviews. You are not alone in the study and enjoyment of bars. One other thing about the Balance bars - since they say they are made in Canada, I've got myself convinced that they reflect the healthiness of maple trees, Canadian Rockies, etc. Best regards, BaltimoreBarGuy PS My wife just commented that she likes the Balance S'mores.

  8. I was looking for some Walden Farms' products reviews and I found this sit and I've readen some of your opinions. First of all I wanted to congratulate you, because you're really accurate in describing flavours and tastes, also it's a pity that you didn't do a review of the peanut butter spread. Are you goingo to write more reviews about these products, and maybe also about normal peanut spread?

  10. Morningstar Spicy Black Bean Burgers, Mediterranean chick pea, etc..... open the plastic package at one end like a cereal bag, microwave in said bag for 1 min. 30-40 seconds. They "steam" and stay moist...in case you are still buying them...
If you try any "chik'n" products I recommend the same treatment in the microwave, then hit the broil on your toaster oven to crisp them (sans the plastic) up for a minute or so, flip them over 1/2 way through cooking time to get both sides.

  11. I just want to say that I have been reading your blog for the past few days and it is fantastic! Being in New Zealand, there are a lot of products which we can't buy here and I am super jealous of the awesome UK selection! Thanks for taking the time to write this, you are doing a wonderful job!

Could you please consider adding a snapshot of the ingredients in the products you review? I like to know what ingredients are in food.

    1. Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoy it.

If you click on the link of the product name in the opening paragraph of each review, that will take you to the product's webpage. On that page, there should be nutritional information, including ingredients, listed. Thanks!

    2. It would just be a lot handier if it is was right there, instead of having to navigate the manufacturer's webpage. :)
