Review: Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy Key Lime Pie Yogurt
So, I've been plowing my way through these non-Greek Yoplait yogurt reviews recently and today is my first foray into another one of their product lines as I take a look at this Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy Key Lime Pie Yogurt that I also picked up at Marsh on sale for the bargain basement price of $0.20. As I was looking around, I noticed that Yoplait doesn't really change their flavors from product line to product line...all they do is change the consistency of the yogurt. Since I've looked at Yoplait Light yogurts so far, I found that those yogurts were loose and somewhat runny. Based on the name of this one, I'd expect that this one would be the antithesis of that. Anyway, this one is 6.0 ounces like the others and the "upgrade" to thick and creamy means that this one picks up an additional ten calories and two grams of protein, thus coming in at 100 calories with seven grams of protein.

Review: Dannon Light & Fit Citrus Blend Greek Yogurt
Dannon Light & Fit products have been out for quite a while now and their Greek yogurt versions have been out for a bit too and I've looked at a lot of them. But every now and then, I'll be perusing the yogurt aisle (I seem to do a lot of aimless wandering in my grocery stores; I guess that is a "peril" of being a food reviewer) at one of my local stores and I'll see one of these manufacturers sneak out a new flavor and that's what happened with this single serving cup of Dannon Light & Fit Citrus Blend Greek Yogurt that I was able to pick up at Marsh for $1.00 (so new that it doesn't even have an individual product page at the time of the writing of this post). Being that this is Light & Fit, the calories are intended to be quite minimal and per usual, this one has 80 calories packed into a 5.3 ounce cup. It's also got twelve grams of protein packed into that 80 calories, so it has quite a punch.

Review: Slow Food For Fast Lives Thai Bar
I didn't really cover in my last Slow Food For Fast Lives review that I was very fearful of the product going in just based on the fact that it seemed like such an odd flavor profile and was really something that I had never had in a nutrition bar before, so the fear of the unknown hit me. Well, despite the fact that I liked that particular bar, I'm just as afraid this time as I take a look at another free sample that I received in this Slow Food For Fast Lives Thai Bar. The bar itself is 1.4 ounces, has 190 calories and also has six grams of protein. It's also all natural, vegan and gluten free.

Review: Dannon Oikos Traditional Key Lime Greek Yogurt
I mentioned in my last Dannon review that it was my first time trying out one of their Oikos Traditional products and since I'm a binge purchaser, I of course picked up several of these at one time for reviews. That binge purchase leads me to another dessert inspired Greek yogurt product with this single serving cup of Dannon Oikos Traditional Key Lime Greek Yogurt that I picked up on sale at Marsh for $1.00. Each cup is 5.3 ounces and this one had 160 calories and eleven grams of protein.

Review: Dannon Light & Fit Greek Blends Key Lime Greek Yogurt
Here I go as I continue to make my way through these Dannon Light & Fit Greek Blends reviews with another stab at one of these from my binge purchase at Walmart. I was able to pick up this single serving cup of Dannon Light & Fit Greek Blends Key Lime Greek Yogurt at the same regular price of $1.00 and each cup is 5.3 ounces of 80 calorie fun. It's two times the amount of protein, or so they say, so that translates to twelve grams of protein that is power packed into a low calorie treat. Honestly, that's kind of impressive.

Review: Kellogg's Special K Chili Lime Cracker Chips
Every few months Kellogg's Special K sneaks out a new flavor variety of it's cracker chips for me to add to the product review catalog. I was in Walmart the other day picking up some other things and as I was meandering through the grocery section, I noticed that Special K had done it again by sneaking out this box of Kellogg's Special K Chili Lime Cracker Chips as a new product offering. I was able to get this 4.0 ounce box for $3.00 and each box contains about 3.5 servings of cracker chips with each serving (about 27 chips) having about 110 calories.

Review: Ananda Squares by Isaac Roberts
Today's review is a little bit different of a review for me. Usually I review products that are available via an actual store location or via the internet. Today's review is a review of something that is trying to make it to those locations via a Kickstarter project. In Ananda Squares' initial e-mail to promote their product (and project) to me, they described their business as this: "We're trying to connect with people who are health concious, gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan, and in need of a better source of Amaranth and Quinoa for their diets on the go." In case you are curious and have no idea what amaranth is like I did, it is part of the same family of plants as quinoa, so the correlation made in that introduction makes perfect sense. As part of this promotion, they sent me three miniature versions of their product (typically they are about 3.5" by 3.5" in size; these were about 1" by 1") to try out and I'll address each individually as I go along. Also, their project timeline ends on August 22nd, so if you like what you see here and are interested, feel free to check out their Kickstarter information page for more, including what the final packaging will look like as opposed to my samples above. Their slogan is "Eat Amaranth With Ease" so I guess I'll put that to the test.

Review: Fruttare Lime Ice Bars
I haven't quite completely figured out why, but I'm in love with trying out these new Fruttare bars. Perhaps its because all my coupon apps and sites keep releasing coupons or perhaps its because I've had so much success with the flavors that I've already tried. Whatever it is, I have no clue but I am led to yet another review with today's look a these Fruttare Lime Ice Bars. I picked these up on sale at Kroger for $2.99 (I also had a Kroger app coupon...Boo-ya!). Each box contains six 2.0 fluid ounce bars and each bar is a minimal 70 calories. I'm sure that 2.0 fluid ounces means nothing when just looking at the raw number, but for a size comparison, think of a deck of cards. I realize this bar is fruit juice, but seventy calories for a dessert treat isn't half bad.

Review: JELL-O Temptations Key Lime Pie Pudding
I've shared the fact that I'm addicted to JELL-O pudding in the plethora of prior reviews here on the blog. On the other hand, I'm not so addicted to their Temptations products and those have been kind of hit or miss in my book. Seeing a new (to me) flavor of the Temptations line in the store recently prompted me to pick up this four pack of JELL-O Temptations Key Lime Pudding that was on sale at Kroger for $2.49. Each pudding cup is four ounces and also 80 calories. Now, I'll be the first to admit that while I find Key Lime Pie to be alright, it's not one of my favorite things in the world, but I'm almost always willing to try out new things because sometimes thing surprise me with how good then end up being. Hopefully that'll be the case with this pudding cup.
