Review: The GFB Gluten Free Bar Cranberry Toasted Almond Bar
Last time I looked at one of these Gluten Free Bars, I picked it up on clearance at Meijer so I figured it was a one-time only review since they wouldn't be carrying them anymore. Well, I was wrong. Not only are they still carrying them, but they've also added more flavors and seeing that, I picked up a couple for reviews. Today's review if the first of that purchase as I take a look at this The GFB Gluten Free Bar Cranberry Toasted Almond Bar that I was able to grab for $1.49. It's 2.05 ounces and comes in with 225 calories and twelve grams of protein. It's gluten free (DUH, or as the wrapper says OBVIOUSLY) and also soy free, dairy free AND vegan.

Review: KIND Strong & Kind Thai Sweet Chili Almond Protein Bar
He's been mentioned here before but I'll mention again that Junk Food Guy runs a pretty damn fine blog. Not only does he review products, but he also talks about sports, life, etc. I've done a lot of reviews, but I only really do quick hitter-type reviews, so just looking the sheer volume of reviews and other things that he's done is astounding to me. Anyway, I've learned via his Twitter feed that he's a big fan of savory snack bars, so today's review that adds to my KIND review series is an ode to him. I was able to pick up this KIND Strong & Kind Thai Sweet Chili Almond Protein Bar at Kroger on sale for $1.25 and the bar is 1.6 ounces and has 230 calories and ten grams of protein. It's also gluten free, among other things, so it's also got that going for it. This one also shows up as right in the middle on the Spice meter on the wrapper, so I guess I shouldn't expect to be on fire when I'm done, so that's good.

Review: Slow Food For Fast Lives Indian Bar
Regular readers of the blog may have noticed that I'm not posting as frequently anymore. This is due to the fact that my real life has led me to take another job and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to the blog and have even had thoughts about walking away entirely. But, those thoughts have not come to fruition because of a few reasons. First, I kind of like the income that I derive from the blog and I'd probably miss that nice little "bonus" that I get each month. Second, I sometimes get contacted by readers that have nothing but the nicest things to say (Hi Tracey P.!) and I always appreciate that and those kind words keep me chugging along. Third, I also sometimes receive offers of new (and free!) products to try out and as a guy that loves free stuff, as I've mentioned countless times before, I love getting those opportunities. It's one of those opportunities that leads me to the source of today's review as I take a look at this Slow Food For Fast Lives Indian Bar. This bar is 1.4 ounces, has 180 calories, five grams of protein and is also, all natural, gluten free and vegan.

Review: Larabar ALT Lemon Pound Cake Fruit and Nut Bar
These ALT products from Larabar have been an interesting bag in prior reviews. I guess interesting is the wrong word...they've certainly been different since they are pea protein based. Since I picked up a few of these all in the same shopping trip, I'm led to this final review of that purchase splurge with today's review of this Larabar ALT Lemon Pound Cake Fruit and Nut Bar that I picked up at Kroger for $1.00. Each bar is 1.77 ounces and has 210 calories with ten grams of protein. It's vegan, gluten free, kosher, non-GMO, etc., so if you are afraid of crossing the street, this safe bar is right up your alley. Ha, just kidding.

Review: Larabar ALT Peanut Butter Cookie Fruit and Nut Bar
So here we go with another review from the Larabar ALT family of product. Pea packed and powered, these bars are in a lot of the same flavors as the classic Larabar foods, but they are just jammed packed with that pea/protein element this time in the case of this Larabar ALT Peanut Butter Cookie Fruit and Nut Bar. I picked this one up on sale at Meijer for $1.25 and it comes in at 1.95 ounces and is packed with 240 calories and ten grams of protein.
