Review: Promax Lemon Bar Protein Bar
I mentioned in a previous Promax review that a representative of theirs was kind enough to reach out to me to offer my some flavors of some sample bars. Today's review is another one of those reviews as I'll be diving into one of Promax's original product offerings in this Promax Lemon Bar Protein Bar. It's a protein bar, so it's on the bulky side at 2.64 ounces and within that bulk is 290 calories and twenty grams of protein. Now, just because it is bulky doesn't mean it's bad because it's also gluten free, kosher and vegetarian. Honestly, I would not have anticipated that. Of course, I probably wouldn't have thought of it, but now that I know, I'm mildly surprised.

Review: Yoplait Original Cookies 'n Cream Yogurt
Freebies will do funny things, especially free food freebies. I've often been the victim of Kroger's Free Friday Download on this blog and I even get hit by Meijer occasionally as well. For the first time, I got hit my Marsh and that's what ended up in today's review adding to my Yoplait review catalog as I grabbed this six ounce container of the new flavor Yoplait Original Cookies 'n Cream Yogurt out of the Marsh dairy case. It's low fat and it clocked in with 170 calories and five grams of protein.

Review: Green Giant Original Baked Sweet Potato Fries
I typically try to stay away from "portable" snacks because I have a really bad habit of devouring them at record paces. That means that I TRY to stay away from Chex Mix, Doritos and also Green Giant snack products. As this blog has shown in prior reviews though, I still end up buying these Green Giant products from time-to-time, despite my best intentions. It's a failure of those efforts that lead me to pick up a bag of these Green Giant Original Baked Sweet Potato Fries on sale at Kroger for $0.99 and each bag is 4.6 ounces Each serving in the bag is roughly one ounce, which basically equates to 28 fries, and carries 130 calories. Basically, they aren't totally unhealthy, but eating a lot of them is probably not going to do you (or I) any favors.
