Review: Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Lemon Meringue Pie Pudding

These Bakery Shop pudding cups are a funny premise.  To me, it seems like they are just putting lipstick on a pig.  What I mean by that is that they are taking their basic products and then just putting a pretty name on them to make them seem different.  In prior reviews, it just seems like they are mixing two different kinds of pudding and then calling it an exotic name and that's the whole premise of the pudding cup.  That's been fine in some cases since it has been tasty, but it is an interesting way of re-purposing existing products...basically it's the Taco Bell approach.  With that, it's time to review another one of these Bakery Shop pudding cups with this review of the Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Lemon Meringue Pie Pudding that I picked up at Meijer in a four pack for $1.00.  It's 3.5 ounces and 120 calories per pudding cup.

Review: Kraft MilkBite Strawberry Milk & Granola Bar

These Kraft MilkBite bars are brilliant in their simplicity.  The pick one flavor, mix it with milk and that's it.  I've already touched on a couple of flavors previously, but as I also mentioned before, I picked up a couple of flavors at the same time and that leads me to this review of the Kraft MilkBite Strawberry Milk & Granola Bar.  Like the other, I picked this one up on sale at Meijer in a box of five bars on sale for $2.99.  Each bar is 1.23 ounces and has 140 calories and five grams of protein.  It's also a fifth of your daily calcium intake, so hooray for bone health!

Review: Fiber One Strawberry PB&J Chewy Bar

A common memory of nearly everyone's childhoods are eating countless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The only thing that may have differed from some people's memories are the flavors of jelly that they used on their sandwiches.  In my house, it was always grape.  In some houses though, strawberry sometimes made it into the equation.  It's that peanut butter and strawberry combination that Fiber One is trying to re-create with this Fiber One Strawberry PB&J Chewy Bar that adds to my growing Fiber One review series.  I picked up a box of six of these at Kroger on sale for $2.99 and each bar in the box is one ounces and 110 calories with two grams of protein.  Each bar also contains 10% of your daily calcium intake and 20% of your daily fiber intake (based on a 2,000 calorie diet), so it's packing quite a powerful punch.
