Review: Quaker Popped Vanilla Creme Brulee Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
More Quakes flavors! YEA! At this point, you are probably as tired of these reviews as I am, assuming you are a regular reader. But, I made a pledge to myself that I would make my way through every single Quakes flavor that I could find, so I'll keep reviewing them until I run out. The good news is that the end is in sight, so I'll run out eventually. This time though, I'll be looking at the Vanilla Creme Brulee flavor. Clocking in at 120 calories per serving (about three per bag), I picked this one up at Kroger on sale for $1.00.

Review: Quaker Popped Apple Cinnamon Rice Snacks
I'll admit it...there are some of these Quakes flavors that I've been holding out on reviewing. I want to get through the riff-raff flavors and only spread some special flavors throughout the riff-raff so that they have that much more meaning. Is this one of those instances?. Let's find out. These Quaker Quakes Apple Cinnamon rice snacks are 120 calories per serving (about three per bag) and I purchased them on sale at Meijer for $1.00.
Now, before I review this, I will say that apples and cinnamon are two of my favorite things in the world, so I have high expectations on this one. There is nothing better than throwing some apples in a saute pan along with some cinnamon and letting them simmer to the point that the apples are soft and infused with cinnamon. It's a beautiful combination and Quaker's attempt to put this into Quake form should be right up my ally.

Review: Quaker Popped Kettle Corn Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
In my continuing series of trying out Quaker's Quakes Rice Snacks, next on the agenda was the Kettle Corn variety. At 110 calories per serving and a tagline promising a sweet and salty crunch, I figure you are getting the best of all worlds. You can cure your sweet tooth, your need for crunchy foods and the occasional need for something salty with a little bite. It solves all cravings at once. Well, let's find out (FYI, I got these on sale at Meijer for about $1.00).

Review: Quaker Popped Caramel Corn Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
When I peruse the Quaker Oats Products website, I see that I've tried all but one of their flavors (there are fifteen of them on the site; I've tried one that is not listed on the site), so you are going to be seeing a lot more of these reviews on the blog. But hey, this site is about getting review content out there for the general public, right? Well, that's at least what I tell myself. Anyway, next in the series of Quaker Quakes rice snacks are the Caramel Corn Quakes variety. As I've said on this site before, I love Caramel, so this one seems like it would be right in my wheelhouse. At 110 calories per serving (about three servings per bag), it's not a belt buster either. These were purchased on sale at Meijer for around $1.00.

Review: Quaker Popped Chocolate Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
I realize that I have already done a Quakes review and there are more on the way. The good news is that unless Quaker introduces a million new flavors, I'll eventually run out of flavors to review and these reviews will go way. Hopefully people do not get sick of the site before then. That said, next in line are the Chocolate Quakes. At 120 calories per serving (about three per bag), it's not the healthiest thing in the world, but hey, it's better than Doritos. These were purchased on sale at Meijer for $1.00.
