Review: Quaker Popped Tomato Basil Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Tomato Basil Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
The next Quakes review and hopefully one of the last for a long while because I am frankly fatigued on these reviews, is a flavor that is so new (it says it on the bag, but my superior photography skills cut that part off) that Quaker does not even have a website for the flavor! It's a flavor that I saw in while meandering through Walmart in a large bag for $2.59. Each serving is 130 calories and in this large bag, there's about six servings.

Review: Quaker Popped Sour Cream & Onion Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
I like Sour Cream & Onion potato chips a lot and if you are a regular reader of this blog, you are problem thinking, "what does this guy not like a lot?" Well, the answer is bananas and...sour cream! Yep, I don't like sour cream at all, but for some reason, I like the chips a lot. Seeing these Quaker Popped Sour Cream & Onion Rice Snacks on the shelf at Walmart for $1.39 made me curious enough to see if I liked these as much as I like the actual potato chips. Each serving is 130 calories and as usual, there's about three servings per bag.

Review: Quaker Popped BBQ Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
If you can't tell by my plethora of reviews, I like to snack a lot on Quakes. A couple Quakes here, a couple Quakes there, it's a seemingly never ending cycle. Because I get bored pretty easily, I like to spread out the variety of flavors (as you can tell by this blog) and that led me to the Quaker Popped BBQ Rice Snacks flavor. I picked these up at Walmart for $1.29 and they contain 120 calories per serving (about three servings per bag).

Review: Quaker Popped Vanilla Creme Brulee Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
More Quakes flavors! YEA! At this point, you are probably as tired of these reviews as I am, assuming you are a regular reader. But, I made a pledge to myself that I would make my way through every single Quakes flavor that I could find, so I'll keep reviewing them until I run out. The good news is that the end is in sight, so I'll run out eventually. This time though, I'll be looking at the Vanilla Creme Brulee flavor. Clocking in at 120 calories per serving (about three per bag), I picked this one up at Kroger on sale for $1.00.

Review: Quaker Popped Apple Cinnamon Rice Snacks
I'll admit it...there are some of these Quakes flavors that I've been holding out on reviewing. I want to get through the riff-raff flavors and only spread some special flavors throughout the riff-raff so that they have that much more meaning. Is this one of those instances?. Let's find out. These Quaker Quakes Apple Cinnamon rice snacks are 120 calories per serving (about three per bag) and I purchased them on sale at Meijer for $1.00.
Now, before I review this, I will say that apples and cinnamon are two of my favorite things in the world, so I have high expectations on this one. There is nothing better than throwing some apples in a saute pan along with some cinnamon and letting them simmer to the point that the apples are soft and infused with cinnamon. It's a beautiful combination and Quaker's attempt to put this into Quake form should be right up my ally.

Review: Quaker Popped Kettle Corn Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
In my continuing series of trying out Quaker's Quakes Rice Snacks, next on the agenda was the Kettle Corn variety. At 110 calories per serving and a tagline promising a sweet and salty crunch, I figure you are getting the best of all worlds. You can cure your sweet tooth, your need for crunchy foods and the occasional need for something salty with a little bite. It solves all cravings at once. Well, let's find out (FYI, I got these on sale at Meijer for about $1.00).

Review: Quaker Popped Caramel Corn Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
When I peruse the Quaker Oats Products website, I see that I've tried all but one of their flavors (there are fifteen of them on the site; I've tried one that is not listed on the site), so you are going to be seeing a lot more of these reviews on the blog. But hey, this site is about getting review content out there for the general public, right? Well, that's at least what I tell myself. Anyway, next in the series of Quaker Quakes rice snacks are the Caramel Corn Quakes variety. As I've said on this site before, I love Caramel, so this one seems like it would be right in my wheelhouse. At 110 calories per serving (about three servings per bag), it's not a belt buster either. These were purchased on sale at Meijer for around $1.00.

Review: Quaker Popped Sweet Chili Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
My handy Google Analytics stats tell me that people are searching for reviews on Quaker Quakes. In fact, it is one of my top five search terms, so being the excellent blogger/promoter that I am (ha!) that wants to cater to the masses, that means it is time for another Quakes review and this time I'm sampling the Quaker Popped Sweet Chili Rice Snacks. Purchased on sale at Meijer for $1.00, this one is 130 calories per serving (about three per bag), which puts it in the higher calorie tier of the Quakes product line.

Review: Quaker Popped Cheddar Cheese Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
Quaker Quakes rice snacks: yours and my favorite product reviews. Ha! Next in line is the Cheddar Cheese flavored rice snack. At 140 calories per serving (about three per bag), this ranks as the most calorie laden offering in the Quakes product line. I picked this one up at Meijer on sale for $1.00 (as you can probably tell, I only buy Quakes when they are on sale for $1.00 or less).

Review: Quaker Popped Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
Another Quaker Quakes review! Yahoo! This Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper flavor was purchased at Meijer on sale for $1.00 (I had a shopping car full of all these different Quakes when I made them as part of a bulk purchase of all their flavors one day). These are 130 calories per serving (about three per bag), so they fall in the upper end of the calorie count chart in comparison to the other Quakes.

Review: Quaker Popped Chocolate Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
I realize that I have already done a Quakes review and there are more on the way. The good news is that unless Quaker introduces a million new flavors, I'll eventually run out of flavors to review and these reviews will go way. Hopefully people do not get sick of the site before then. That said, next in line are the Chocolate Quakes. At 120 calories per serving (about three per bag), it's not the healthiest thing in the world, but hey, it's better than Doritos. These were purchased on sale at Meijer for $1.00.

Review: Quaker Popped Ranch Rice Snacks
Editor's Note: While the product has stayed the same, Quaker now markets these under a different named and they are now called "Quaker Popped Rice Snacks." The review below applies the same.
Quaker Oats has a line of mini-rice cakes that they market under the "Quakes" product name. There are several different varieties, but for these purposes, we'll focus on the Quaker Quakes Ranch Rice Snacks. I'm not a big fan of ranch flavored items myself, but I was willing to give these a shot in order to add some variety to the otherwise bland life of mine. At 130 calories per serving (there's three servings in a standard size bag), it's not a big caloric hit either, so that made me even more inclined to give them a try. I got this at Meijer on sale for about $1.00.
