Review: EcoTrek Fitness Dark Chocolate Raspberry Whole Food Bar
In my last EcoTrek Fitness bar review, I mentioned how it seems like gluten free is taking over the world. I'll spare you that diatribe again (if you even read it the first time) and just focus on the fact that today I'll be taking a look at another one of their products in this review of the EcoTrek Fitness Dark Chocolate Raspberry Whole Food Bar. I picked this one up in the same clearance sale at Meijer for $1.99 and each bar is 1.76 ounces (that seems to be a standard size for many, many bars out there oddly enough) with 195 calories and ten grams of protein. It's all natural, dairy free gluten free, vegan and consists of all sorts of fruits and vegetables, so it's got all that going for it.

Review: Dannon Light & Fit Blueberry Acai Yogurt
I'll be honest, I have no idea what an acai berry is or looks like. If one came up and punched me in the face, I still wouldn't have any idea what it is. That said, I do know based on some other foods that I've eaten that acai berries have a very strong tang taste to them, so I was curious to see how this review of another Light & Fit yogurt in the Blueberry Acai variety would turn out. I picked this up as part of a Super Saver four pack (it was paired with two Raspberry Goji) at Meijer for $1.88. Each yogurt cup is 6.0 ounces and is 80 calories with five grams of protein and is also zero fat.

Review: Stonyfield Organic Oikos Superfruits 0% Fat Greek Yogurt
I've hit a lot of Greek yogurts on this blog, but this is review number one of any of the Stonyfield Greek yogurt products. This is from their organic Oikos line and if anything is begging to be the inaugural review based on its name alone, it's this one, the Superfruits flavor from their Fruit on the Bottom version of their Oikos line. I think I'm particularly super in my own mind, so it's only fitting that I do a review on this one. I picked this one up at Kroger for $1.25 and it weighs in at 1.25 ounces with 130 calories and it has thirteen grams of protein.

Review: Balance Bar Bare Blueberry Acai Bar
I interrupt this week's CLIF Bar week programming to essentially what could be considered a sponsored review. Starting today, February 15th, Balance Bar is releasing a new product from their Bare line of bars (basically trail mix bars), the Blueberry Acai bar (no website for it yet). You should be able to find these in stores officially next week, but Balance Bar shipped a box of these to me in advance in hopes that I would do a review for the site and being that the bar is being introduced to the press today, I wanted to make sure that I was able to get it out there pronto. I would imagine this would cost roughly the same as a typical Balance Bar (around $1.00) and it weighs in at the Balance Bar standard of 1.76 ounces. The bar contains 200 calories and 15 grams of protein.
