Review: Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Mixed Berry Blended Greek Yogurt
Have I missed some sort of revolt against yogurt companies that people are declaring that they want room to put their own toppings in yogurt cups. Today's review, another Dannon product, clearly states on the packaging that there is room for toppings in the container. This isn't the first time that I've seen this from this manufacturer or other manufacturers either. I know food manufacturing is a follow-the-leader type of game with everyone settling on the same themes, flavors, etc. Could this room for toppings thing be the next big thing? I have no idea. Anyway, I picked up this 5.3 ounce cup of Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Mixed Berry Blended Greek Yogurt at Meijer for $0.88. It's packed with 120 calories and a surprising fifteen grams of protein, all in a cute nonfat package (with room for toppings!).

Review: Balance Bar Bare Mixed Berry Nut Bar
At the rate I'm going, I could almost solicit a sponsorship for this blog from Kroger as their Free Friday Download program continues to grow the number of reviews on this blog. What I do like about that program (other than the free stuff, of course) is that it forces me to look in sections of the store that I've been away from for a while and looking in those sections allows me to find new products that I have never seen before, as is the case with today's review of this Balance Bar Bare Mixed Berry Nut Bar that I can add to the already expansive collection of Balance Bar reviews. It's a 1.19 ounce bar and it has 160 calories and four grams of protein. It's also dairy free, gluten free and soy free if that floats any of your boats.

Review: Fruttare Mixed Berry and Milk Frozen Fruit & Milk Dessert Bars
When Fruttare bars first came out in my area, I hammered them with a large series of reviews, but have mainly stayed away for quite a while. A little while back, a member of Fruttare's publicity team contacted me and asked if I'd like to try out some of their new flavors. Being the glutton for food and free stuff that I am, I happily accepted the offer and they sent me out two vouchers for free products. One of those vouchers got me today's product with this box of Fruttare Strawberry and Milk + Mixed Berry and Milk Frozen Fruit & Milk Dessert Bars. As you can quite easily see, there are two flavors in this box but since the Mixed Berry-flavored bars are the new ones, I'll primarily focus on those for the purposes of this review. Each of those bars is 2.7 fluid ounces and 110 calories.

Review: MET-Rx NOS Pumped Chocolate Mixed Berry Energy Bar
Early in the history of this blog, I hit a lot of MET-Rx products and compared to now, they blog was heavily meathead focused. Over time, I've drifted away from the hardcore muscle bars and have gone more toward the snack/energy bar realm. Occasionally though, I'll drift back into that hardcore world (albeit hardcore energy) and that leads me to today's review of a new product that I found on the shelves of my local Walmart with this MET-Rx NOS Pumped Chocolate Mixed Berry Energy Bar that I picked up for on sale $1.67. Each bar weighs in at 1.94 ounces and has a relatively tame 220 calories and thirteen grams of protein.

Review: Nature Valley Greek Yogurt Mixed Berry Protein Bars
Mega monster producer General Mills keeps churning them out, eh? This time, they've added to their already expansive product review catalog with an attempt at the Greek yogurt crazy (in bar form) with this box of Nature Valley Greek Yogurt Mixed Berry Protein Bars that I picked up on sale at Kroger for $2.50. Within that box are five bars and each bar is 1.42 ounces and has 190 calories and ten grams of protein. According to them, it's a "chewy bar with naturally flavored yogurt coating" but I guess that I will be the judge of that!
