Review: MyOatmeal.com Vanilla Frosting PB Lean
For whatever reason over the past few months, I've developed an absurd obsession with cake. Most people like cake and I always have too, but for some unknown reason, I've developed a NEED for cake at least once or twice a week. I often stop at my local grocery store and buy a slice of whatever cake they have on the shelf that is available. Thankfully I haven't gotten as far to buy a whole cake yet and hopefully that day will never come. So, when MyOatmeal.com sent me a promo code to try out some of the products on their website as I mentioned in a prior review, the fact that they have a flavor named MyOatmeal.com Vanilla Frosting PB Lean was right up my alley. This 1.5 pound package of powdered peanut butter contains 48+ servings at fourteen grams each and each serving is 57 calories.

Review: Blue Bunny I Do! I Do! Wedding Cake Ice Cream
You may find this surprising considering my witty banter on this site, but I am not married, nor have I ever been. Because of that, I've never had to utter the phrase "I Do" as it applies to this addition to the Blue Bunny review catalog with this 1.75 quart container of Blue Bunny I Do! I Do! Wedding Cake Ice Cream that I picked up on sale at Marsh for $4.44. That said, I've have lots of friends that are married and therefore have been to lots of wedding and thus have tried a lot of wedding cakes (for better or worse; like how I worked that wedding ceremony line in there? Like I said, I'm witty.) and can serve as a pretty decent judge of good ones and bad ones. Since I have tried a lot of wedding cakes, I was anxious to dive into Blue Bunny's (or Duff Goldman's since they brought him in as a ringer) ice cream version of wedding cake for a review. This container had fourteen half-cup servings (two extra scoops!) and each serving was 140 calories.

Review: Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Frosted Sugar Cookie Pudding
After my initial review of one of the products from the Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop line, I was both curious and anxious to dive in for a second review since this line of products has what seems like very interesting flavors. Next up in the series is this review of the Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Frosted Sugar Cookie Pudding that I picked up on sale at Meijer for $1.00. Each package contains the typical four 3.25 ounce pudding cups and each pudding cup is 100 calories. It's also equivalent to an eight ounce glass of milk, so yeah calcium!

Review: Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Chocolate Cupcake Pudding
I've reviewed a lot of pudding on this blog, but have mainly stayed away from Hunt's Snack Packs because the majority of their flavors are so bland. With that and being that I'm a pudding addict, when I saw these Bakery Shop pudding cups in the aisle at my local Meijer, I knew I had to pick up some flavors to try. First to be reviewed is the Hunt's Snack Pack Bakery Shop Chocolate Cupcake Pudding. This one was priced at $1.00 for a four pack and each pudding cup in the four pack is 3.25 ounces. That's a lot of fours! Each cups is 110 calories and despite the fact that these have milk in them, they somehow have a shelf life of eighteen months and do not require refrigeration. Amazing.

Review: Blue Bunny Chocolate Lovers Triple Chocolate Cake Ice Cream
A former employer of mine was based out of Iowa and one of my former co-workers had mentioned on conference calls that her job in high school and college was working at the Blue Bunny factory because that was her hometown. So, I've known about Blue Bunny ice cream for some time, but I've avoided reviewing it for two reasons. First, it is seemingly never on sale and when it is, it is still more expensive than other ice creams (at least in my stores), so that is one reason I stayed away. Second, having visited Iowa on a trip for my previous job, I don't like supporting anything that comes out of Iowa because my experience there (and also with that former employer) was so miserable that anything related to the state makes my blood boil. In fact, it makes me so angry that I've been on record as saying I'd rather be in prison than live in Iowa. Yes, I may have anger issues from time to time.
Anyway, a recent sale on Blue Bunny got me over my anger issues and I picked up a 1.75 quart container of this Blue Bunny Chocolate Lovers Triple Chocolate Cake Ice Cream at Kroger for $3.99 and was anxious to give it a try since it is a Chef Duff Goldman product. I like Duff himself, but his Ace of Cakes show used to drive me nuts, but that's neither here nor there. Pointless rambling aside, this comes in at 190 calories per half-cup serving and as always, there's fourteen servings per container since this one is slightly larger, thus the higher cost (I learned something today!).
