Review: Kozy Shack Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding

So here we are with another review of one of Kozy Shack's bread pudding products.  I was first put on to their bread puddings and this Kozy Shack Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding specifically in a review by Junk Food Guy, so I've tried to hold this flavor back as long as I could since he already had a review out there.  But, being the comprehensive sort that I am and I'd like this blog to be, I figured it was my turn to put in my two cents.  I picked up this four pack of 3.5 ounce cups at my friendly local Meijer on sale for $2.50 and each cup contains 150 calories per cup.  Somehow, this is also all natural, so it's got that going for it.

Review: Kozy Shack Chocolate Bread Pudding

So this review officially marks another review experience with Kozy Shack's line of bread puddings with a this review of one of their new products in that line with this review of the Kozy Shack Chocolate Bread Pudding.  Last time, I went in with high expectations and was met with disappointment, so I've tempered myself a little bit in hopes that maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.  By the way, this comes in a four pack of 3.5 ounce cups that I picked up on sale at Meijer for $2.50.  Each 3.5 ounce cup is a fairly robust 170 calories (that's what the packaging says while the website says 150; which do I trust?), so you aren't exactly eating a super healthy treat with this one.  Much like the others, Kozy Shack also says that you can eat this either hot or cold, so I'll approach it by tasting it using both of those methods.

Review: Kozy Shack Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding

Bread pudding is something that I've come to later in my life.  In fact, I had never had it up until a few years ago and the first couple times I had it, I didn't really think it was all that great.  I thought it was okay, I guess, but it was nothing that particularly stirred any passion (positively or negatively) for me in any way.  That all changed when I went to St. Louis a year or so ago and went to the breakfast buffet at the Renaissance Grand Marriott in Downtown St. Louis.  On their buffet, they had some bread pudding that was one of the most unbelievably awesome things that I've ever had in my life and there is not a week that goes by these days where I don't think about it.  I'm aware it's kind of a ridiculous obsession, but it is what it is.

Anyway, after having had Kozy Shack products before, but never their bread puddings, and then seeing Junk Food Guy's review of their Apple Cinnamon bread pudding (which I had seen in the store before, but had never purchased), I knew I had to try this out and see if the Cinnamon Raisin flavor (one of my favorite flavor combinations) was better than the Apple Cinnamon version that he reviewed.  Just for review solidarity's sake, I picked up a four pack of these 3.5 ounce cups at Meijer on sale for $2.50.  Each cup is 150 calories.
