Review: Van's Natural Foods Gluten Free Say Cheese! Crackers

Do you ever get tired of free samples?  I hope the answer to that question was no.  If it was yes, I seriously question you.  Just kidding.  Anyway, I know that I love free samples and today's review is another Van's Natural Foods free sample with today's review of Van's Natural Foods Gluten Free Say Cheese! Crackers.  These came in a box with five snack sized portions of gluten free crackers.  Each bag is 1.0 ounces and comes in at 140 calories.

As you can see, these are cheddar dust covered crackers.  Each cracker is made up of a whole grain mix consisting of oats, brown rice flour, millet, quinoa and amaranth.  These smell like cheesy crackers and that's all I've really got to say.  But, I enjoyed Van's description of these from their site so much that I've decided to copy and paste it here:  "You won’t find gluten free crackers with the same crunchy, cheesy deliciousness as these anywhere else—and now, our most popular crackers are available in perfectly-sized snack bags, ready to go wherever you do!"  Fun times!

In terms of the flavor of these, I'd say they were pretty much what I'd expect.  Cheddar flavored crackers.  Not a particularly sharp cheddar, but it did have some bite.  I'd say they were pretty synonymous with Cheez-It crackers, albeit slightly more crispy and crunchy.  I don't know that there's much else to say outside of that.  This might be the shortest review ever, but I can't think of any other way to draw it out other than typing this sentence.

Buy It or Fly By It?  Being that Cheez-It crackers are entirely manufactured and these are all natural, I'd say that the cheese in these was healthier and I guess I could say that makes me feel better about eating them.  Since they are a healthy alternative to an entirely manufactured product, I'll give these a BUY IT rating.  If you are willing to pay the price for naturalness, this is a price worth paying.

BUY IT!!
