Review: Good2Go Almond Fruit Nut Protein Bars
Several months ago, I received a four boxes of a variety of bars from Good2Go. Well, it's taken me several months, but I am FINALLY ready to wrap up the reviews of what all I received in those boxes as I take a dive into this review of the Good2Go Almond Fruit Nut Protein Bars. As you can see from above, there are eight bars per box and each bar clocks in at 2.47 ounces. What you can't see is that each bar has 298 calories and a fairly robust 18 grams of protein. It's also gluten free, so it's got that going for it.

Review: Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars
I'll admit that I've been a little slow to get this new (it was at one time) Quaker product into my review catalog. I've got a pretty good reason though...they've never been at what I feel is a fair price. So, on a recent trip to Marsh, I found them at a very fair price (on clearance) and I know I had to snatch up a five of these Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars for a much delayed review. Typically, these run in the $3.00-$4.00 range for a box (at Kroger), but let's just say that I got these at a price substantially lower than that, as the remnants of the clearance tag on the front of the box will infer. Anyway, each bar in the box is 1.23 ounces and has 150 calories and two grams of protein. These bars are designed to be snacks, so they aren't large from a calorie, weight or protein perspective.

Review: Good2Go Peanut Butter Fruit Nut Protein Bars
So, another day, another freebie. I love them and can't get enough of them and if you are a regular reader to the blog, you've heard me talk about them all the time. Recently a company reached out to me regarding some free bars and I naturally accepted without even really thinking about it. When the bars arrived, I looked at the box above and saw "G2G" and immediately though of the instant messaging acronym of "got to go" that my sister always used to drop on me when she was trying to drop me from a conversation. Turns out that G2G in this case means "Good2Go", which certainly is not as defeating as the acronym that was in my mind. My failures as a conversationalist aside, I tore open this box of eight Good2Go Peanut Butter Fruit Nut Protein Bars to get ready for a review. Each bar in the box is 2.47 ounces and has a peculiar and exact 298 calories. Not often that you see a company be that exact with their measurements, so that amused me. There is also eighteen grams of protein packed in here, so this is definitely the protein bar that it proclaims to be.

Review: Steve's PaleoGoods Dried Strawberries
Since I'm a celebrity now and get interviewed for other blogs, I feel I'm fully entitled to brag about the vast benefits of writing for this blog. So, let me brag for a minute about how great it is to get free sampler packs from food manufacturers. People view me as an influencer and since I'm such a great writer...actually, I'm bored with this bragging already...back to the regular format. Anyway, a representative from Steve's PaleoGoods reached out to me and about three business days later a sampler pack arrived on my doorstep. Today's review is the first out of that pack as I'm taking a look at this package of Steve's PaleoGoods Dried Strawberries. Now, this may seem like something boring to review, but I'll get to why I chose to put this on the site in a couple moments (other than to thank Steve's for the free products). So, this package is 6.0 ounces and within it are six one ounce servings and each serving is 93 calories.

Review: Chobani Apricot on the Bottom 2% Greek Yogurt
Perhaps I'm blind, but I've never noticed a Chobani product before that has the fruit on the bottom so blatantly advertised and heaven knows that I've reviewed a lot of them. So, having never noticed that before (or perhaps it's new?), I picked up my first look at one of these types of products at Kroger recently on sale for $1.00. This 5.3 ounce cup of Chobani Apricot on the Bottom 2% Greek Yogurt comes in at 140 calories and has a hearty eleven grams of protein. It's also all natural, gluten free and kosher, if those are things that you are looking for when shopping for food products.

Review: Larabar uber Dark Chocolate Peanut Sweet and Salty Fruit & Nut Bar
After my last Larabar review, I learned something that I did not know before after a reader left a comment on my Facebook page. Apparently semi-sweet chocolate is considered dark chocolate, so I guess that is how Larabar can call these bars dark chocolate bars. I was confused by that previously, but not everything is all cleared up. Once again, I've been educated by a loyal reader. Thank you! Anyway, my newly educated self is ready to dive into this review of this Larabar uber Dark Chocolate Peanut Sweet and Salty Fruit & Nut Bar with the knowledge that it truly is dark chocolate. I picked up this bar on sale at Kroger for $1.00 and each bar is 1.42 ounces with 210 calories and six grams of protein. It's also kosher and gluten free.

Reviews: Bocandy.com Variety Box
It seems that half of my reviews lately have come via free products that have been sent to me and today's review is no different. One of the owners of bocandy.com reached out to me and asked if I'd be interested in trying out a sample box of some of their products. Being the out of control sugar addict that I am, I naturally said yes. That led them to so graciously send me a box of free samples and you see some of those above (sorry, I ate some of them before I could knock out a picture. My bad.).

Review: That's it. Apples + Cherries Fruit Bar
You have to admit that the name of today's review product lends itself to so many bad and cheesy jokes that I could (and probably will) tell throughout the course of this review. Anyway, I was recently in New York City for business and I was meandering through the streets of the Chelsea neighborhood where my hotel was and stumbled into a Whole Foods Market. I have Whole Foods in my area, but I don't often go there, so this was kind of a "special" trip for me. While in the store (and eating the free loose nuts and candies), I stumbled upon their nutrition bar section and saw this That's it. Apples + Cherries Fruit Bar, which is something that I have never seen in my local stores before. I think this set me back about $1.50 at New York City prices and it was 1.2 ounces with 100 calories and one gram of protein. It's super healthy since it is only two ingredients (That's it...get it?), so it's all natural, gluten free, kosher, vegan, non-fat, raw and all that jazz.

Review: Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Country Strawberry Bars
I touched on these "crazy" Nutri-Grain new products in my last review of these Harvest bars where they basically take their typical Nutri-Grain bar, turn it inside-out and then make it more "Earthy" by sprinkling some grains on the top of the bar. Still, I like reviewing new products (and making money), so that leads me to today's review of this Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Country Strawberry Bars. I picked up a box of five of these at Meijer for $3.00 on sale. Each bar in the box weighs in at 1.76 ounces and has 180 calories with four grams of protein.

Review: Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Blueberry Bliss Bars
It must be new product season for Kellogg's. Actually, new product season never ends for manufacturers that large, so I guess the subject of today's review is just one more variation of products rolling off the assembly line to add to the enormous Kellogg's review catalog. I was able to pick up this box of five Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Fruit & Oat Harvest Blueberry Bliss Bars on sale at Meijer for $2.99 and each bar is 1.76 ounces with 180 calories and four grams of protein.

Review: KIND Almond & Coconut Fruit & Nut Bar
Every now and then, I'll be wandering through the store and a bar will pop up on me that I'm absolutely dumbfounded that I've never seen before because it seems like such a basic flavor combination. On a recent visit to Walmart, this happened to me as I was trolling around and saw this KIND Almond & Coconut Fruit & Nut Bar that I'm going to add to my review collection today. It was on sale for $1.39 and the bar itself comes in at 1.4 ounces with 190 calories and three grams of protein. It's gluten free, non-GMO and all that jazz too, if you are into that type of thing.

Review: Larabar uber Coconut Macaroon Sweet and Salty Fruit & Nut Bar
I can appreciate a company that continues to spit out new product variations and Larabar is definitely one of those as I've hit on a cornucopia of their product here on the blog in the past. This time, I picked up this Larabar uber Coconut Macaroon Sweet and Salty Fruit & Nut Bar on sale at Kroger for $1.00. The bar comes in at the measureables of 1.42 ounces, 220 calories and four grams of protein. There's obviously also some other numbers in there, but I'm lazy and only want to hit on what I deem to be the high points.

Review: Fruttare Mango Ice Bars
It seems like every time I log into one of my coupon apps (store-specific or otherwise) on my iPhone, there is always a coupon for Fruttare bars. It's quite obvious that these guys are spreading the word far and wide about their products as they've just been introduced this past year and spreading that word has led to several reviews on this blog. Another one of those special coupons leads me to today's review of this box of six Fruttare Mango Ice Bars that I picked up for $2.99 at Kroger with one of those sale coupons. Each bar itself is 2.0 fluid ounces and an economical 60 calories.

Review: Muller frutUp Peach Passion Fruit Lowfat Yogurt with Fruit Mousse
I've tried several of these Muller frutUp yogurts before but I'll be the first to admit that I was scared to try this Muller frutUp Peach Passion Fruit Lowfat Yogurt with Fruit Mousse. While I like peaches, something about blending them with passion fruit just sounds terrifying to me, which is funny since I actually had to look up someone else's description of the flavor profile of passion fruit. Why would I be scared of something I don't know? Silly, but that's kind of the way of the world, do you think? Anyway, I picked this 5.3 ounce cup up on sale at Kroger for $1.00 and each cup is 140 calories and has seven grams of protein.

Review: SOYJOY Berry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar
I'll dispense with the ridiculous play on words introduction that I used in my last SOYJOY post and just get right to it. I've had some success with SOYJOY products before, despite the fact that the general idea of them seems so disgusting. A soy snack bar? So weird. Anyway, with those positive experiences in mind, I was ready to dive into this SOYJOY Berry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar that I picked up on sale at Marsh for $1.00. The bar itself is 1.05 ounces and has 130 calories and four grams of protein.

Review: Sunbelt Bakery Apple Cinnamon Fruit & Grain Bars
Admittedly, I expect to be underwhelmed when I buy these cereal bars. No matter who the manufacturer is, most of them tend to have the same flavors and basically taste the same as well. Still, some part of me hopes I'm going to discover something wonderful, so I keep buying them in that quest and that leads me to another Sunbelt Bakery review with today's review of this box of eight Sunbelt Bakery Apple Cinnamon Fruit & Grain Bars that I picked up on sale at Meijer for $2.99. Each bar in the box is 1.37 ounces, 150 calories and has one gram of protein.

Review: SOYJOY Dark Chocolate Cherry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar
When some people here the word soy, it certainly does not bring them joy. For me, it's not so bad. I sometimes get joy from soy and I've done that before in some of my SOYJOY reviews. Okay, okay...I know that was corny, lame, awful or whatever other adjective you want to use to describe that opening. I should be ashamed of something like that, but since I have no shame, I'm okay with it. Shamelessness aside, I picked up this new SOYJOY Dark Chocolate Cherry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar on sale at my local Marsh for $1.00 and each bar is 1.05 ounces with 140 calories and five grams of protein.

Review: Fruttare Peach and Milk Frozen Fruit & Milk Dessert Bars
I can't say enough positive things about my previous Fruttare experiences. Each time, I expected to go in and be bored by what I was eating and each time, I was left far from bored after I tried each bar out. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed each flavor and product line, so armed with another free product voucher, I grabbed this box of Fruttare Peach and Milk Frozen Fruit & Milk Dessert Bars off the shelf at my local Meijer and dove right in with high expectations. Each box of these bars contains four separate bars and typically runs in the $4.00 range in my area. Each bar is 2.7 fluid ounces and is 110 calories, so it's a fairly economical treat.

Review: SOYJOY Cranberry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar
It's been a while since I've reviewed a SOYJOY bar (early last fall to be precise). I thought I had covered all the flavors in my stores (minus Pineapple; not going to even attempt that one), but then this SOYJOY Cranberry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar popped up on me during a recent visit to my local Marsh. This is a new flavor, so I had never had it, thus I wanted to try it and when I saw it was on sale for $0.99, I was even more pleased. The bar itself is all natural and consists of 140 calories and four grams of protein packed into 1.05 ounces of joy. Like my plan on words there? Yeah, I didn't figure you would...I think I'm more clever than I actually am most of the time. Anyway, onto the review...

Review: Fruttare Coconut and Milk Frozen Fruit & Milk Dessert Bars
Apparently Fruttare bars are another import that we've been deprived of (like Magnum ice cream bars were at one time). Recently though, Unilever (also the importer of Magnum bars) has decided that Fruttare bars should jump from their home country of Brazil and be released to the masses of the United States (they've been available in other parts of the world for quite some time) and spurred on by a free product coupon via my Kroger Plus savings card, I picked up this four pack of Fruttare Coconut and Milk Frozen Dessert Bars on a recent trip to the store. Each bar is 2.7 fluid ounces and 140 calories, so it's a relatively sizable and semi-healthy treat.
