Review: Chobani flip Chipotle Pineapple Greek Yogurt
Every now and then, I encounter a product that just completely knocks me off guard. Today's review is one of those products because I would have NEVER expected a Greek yogurt to have both chipotle and pineapple as the core flavors, especially a Chobani product since most of theirs that I've reviewed have been of the sweet variety. And quite honestly, I was scared to grab this container of Chobani flip Chipotle Pineapple Greek Yogurt out of the dairy case (there's another one that is an even stranger combination that I'll review later). I guess curiosity overpowered my fears though and that's why we are here today. This container is packed with 5.3 ounces of Greek yogurt and mix-ins and has 190 calories and twelve grams of protein.

Review: Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars
I'll admit that I've been a little slow to get this new (it was at one time) Quaker product into my review catalog. I've got a pretty good reason though...they've never been at what I feel is a fair price. So, on a recent trip to Marsh, I found them at a very fair price (on clearance) and I know I had to snatch up a five of these Quaker Quinoa Yogurt, Fruit & Nut Granola Bars for a much delayed review. Typically, these run in the $3.00-$4.00 range for a box (at Kroger), but let's just say that I got these at a price substantially lower than that, as the remnants of the clearance tag on the front of the box will infer. Anyway, each bar in the box is 1.23 ounces and has 150 calories and two grams of protein. These bars are designed to be snacks, so they aren't large from a calorie, weight or protein perspective.

Review: Nature Valley Almond Crunch Roasted Nut Crunch Bars
I already went into a long, drawn out spiel about how I loved nuts. It was a crude and ridiculous attempt at humor, so I'll spare going through that again. It was armed with that pre-existing nut love that I decided to grab a box of six of these Nature Valley Almond Crunch Roasted Nut Crunch Bars Close off the shelves of Meijer for $2.50 to add to my growing Nature Valley review collection. Each bar in the box is 1.2 ounces and has 190 calories and six grams of protein. It's also gluten free, so that should apply to our gluten sensitive readers as well. Judging by the number of people that I hear talking about how they are gluten free now, that's probably a pretty large portion of this blog's readership.

Review: Nature Valley Almond Dark Chocolate Nut Crisp Bars
Crazy Food Dude likes nuts. Wait...that didn't come out right. Crazy Food Dude likes eating things with lots of nuts. Wait...shoot, I can't win. Anyway, when I saw that General Mills and Nature Valley had put out yet another new product with nuts as a primary ingredient, I knew that I had to add to my gigantic review catalog. Of course, I wouldn't have bought these had they not been on sale and fortunately I saw them on sale at Meijer for $2.50 per box, which is kind of a steal for Nature Valley products. Each box of Nature Valley Almond Dark Chocolate Nut Crisp Bars has six bars and each bar in the box comes in at 0.89 ounces and has 130 calories and three grams of protein. These are also gluten free for all the gluten-less dieters out there.

Review: Steve's PaleoGoods Cinnamon Paleokrunch Cereal
So, the charity of Steve (as opposed to The Tao of Steve) continues again today as I embark on another Steve's PaleoGoods review that came out of my wonderful sampler pack that they so graciously delivered to my front door. Today's review is of something I have a real problem with: granola. It's not a problem because I don't like it or I'm allergic to it or whatever. It's a problem because I'm ADDICTED to granola. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. My favorite thing about staying in hotels is the free breakfast in the morning so that I can go down there and DESTROY their granola. And if you don't think I've used enough all capital letter words yet, I will tell you that when I'm at a hotel that doesn't have granola, I am really, really SAD. Anyway, today's addiction (or review) is of this 7.5 ounce bag of Steve's PaleoGoods Cinnamon Paleokrunch Cereal that was sent along to me. It's got five servings in the bag and simple math tells this math wizard that is 1.5 ounces per serving. Each serving also has 209 calories and seven grams of protein and to top that all off, it's gluten free and paleo. Yahoo Mountain Dew (does anyone else actually say that or have you at least heard it?)!

Review: Raw Revolution Spirulina Dream Organic Live Food Bar
This blog is often about the continuing education of the Crazy Food Dude. Today's review is one of those educational moments because when I saw the name of this product, I had NO CLUE what the heck it could mean. So, a simple Google search provided me a little background on this Raw Revolution Spirulina Dream Organic Live Food Bar that will add to my smallish Raw Revolution review series. What I learned is that spirulina is a dietary supplement that can come in many forms. In the case of this bar, it comes in powder form and adds protein and other nutrients. The bar itself is also gluten free, kosher, organic (obviously) and vegan. It clocks in at 1.8 ounces and 230 calories with seven grams of protein.
