Review: Fruttare Mango Ice Bars

It seems like every time I log into one of my coupon apps (store-specific or otherwise) on my iPhone, there is always a coupon for Fruttare bars.  It's quite obvious that these guys are spreading the word far and wide about their products as they've just been introduced this past year and spreading that word has led to several reviews on this blog.  Another one of those special coupons leads me to today's review of this box of six Fruttare Mango Ice Bars that I picked up for $2.99 at Kroger with one of those sale coupons.  Each bar itself is 2.0 fluid ounces and an economical 60 calories.

Review: Sneaky Pete's Raspberry Beret Naturally Oatstanding Beverage

That Pete sure is sneaky.  In my last Sneaky Pete's beverage review, I went in with little or no expectations and I was shocked by how much I liked it.  Based on that performance, my second review of this Sneaky Pete's Raspberry Beret Naturally Oatstanding Beverage had high expectations heading in as the previous flavor set the bar pretty high and sometimes its tough to meet those again.  High expectations aside, I was still willing to give it a shot, so I picked this twelve ounce bottle up at Meijer again for $1.25 and the bottle is 40 calories with three grams of oat fiber, which is equivalent to a whole bowl of oatmeal.  Strange to equate a drink to oats, but that's how Sneaky Pete rolls.  This is also low sodium, heart healthy, all natural and is sweetened with Stevia.

Review: Sneaky Pete's Apples Away Naturally Oatstanding Beverage

When I was growing up, 95% of my morning started off with a glass of orange juice, which got particularly boring.  In the other 5% of the time, my parents would either get us white grape juice or apple juice which were both so delicious that we viewed them as a treat.  We also gulped them down at world record speed, so in order to prevent themselves from having to enter the poor house just to feed our juice habit, my parents kept them as "treats" and only purchased them sporadically.  Since I left for college many years ago, you could probably count on both hands the number of glasses of apple juice that I've had, which is why this review of Sneaky Pete's Apples Away Naturally Oatstanding Beverage is kind of nostalgic for me.  Plus, it's apples and oats, which are two of my favorite things, so I was very curious to see what this was like when I found it in Meijer for $1.25.  It's twelve ounces and is a low calorie drink at only 40 calories.  It's good for cholesterol and high in fiber (equivalent to one bowl of oatmeal), so this one has got all sorts of health benefits.  Sometimes the taste doesn't measure up to the health benefits though, so that is what my review is here to test out.
