Review: SOYJOY Berry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar
I'll dispense with the ridiculous play on words introduction that I used in my last SOYJOY post and just get right to it. I've had some success with SOYJOY products before, despite the fact that the general idea of them seems so disgusting. A soy snack bar? So weird. Anyway, with those positive experiences in mind, I was ready to dive into this SOYJOY Berry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar that I picked up on sale at Marsh for $1.00. The bar itself is 1.05 ounces and has 130 calories and four grams of protein.

Review: Ananda Squares by Isaac Roberts
Today's review is a little bit different of a review for me. Usually I review products that are available via an actual store location or via the internet. Today's review is a review of something that is trying to make it to those locations via a Kickstarter project. In Ananda Squares' initial e-mail to promote their product (and project) to me, they described their business as this: "We're trying to connect with people who are health concious, gluten-free, Vegetarian, Vegan, and in need of a better source of Amaranth and Quinoa for their diets on the go." In case you are curious and have no idea what amaranth is like I did, it is part of the same family of plants as quinoa, so the correlation made in that introduction makes perfect sense. As part of this promotion, they sent me three miniature versions of their product (typically they are about 3.5" by 3.5" in size; these were about 1" by 1") to try out and I'll address each individually as I go along. Also, their project timeline ends on August 22nd, so if you like what you see here and are interested, feel free to check out their Kickstarter information page for more, including what the final packaging will look like as opposed to my samples above. Their slogan is "Eat Amaranth With Ease" so I guess I'll put that to the test.

Review: Dannon Light & Fit Raspberry Goji Yogurt
There's just some manufacturers out there, that have an exhaustive line of products that would give me enough review content for a blog for the rest of my life, Dannon with their Light & Fit line being one of them. That said, I try to stick to flavors for reviews that are non-typical flavors that people may actually be curious about and that leads me to another flavor of Light & Fit yogurt called Dannon Light & Fit Raspberry Goji Yogurt. Now, I'm not that dumb, so I know what raspberries are. As for goji, well, I had to look that one up because I had zero clue what goji is. For the uninformed like myself, goji is a raisin like berry, meaning that it is dried and has a sweetness to it. Armed with this information, I was ready to dive into my review. For semantics purposes, I picked up a four pack of these yogurt cups (they were mixed with a blueberry acai flavor) at Meijer on sale for $1.88. Each yogurt cup is six ounces and eighty calories with zero fat.
