Review: thinkThin Dark Chocolate Peppermint Protein & Fiber Bar
The holidays bring lots of peppermint into our lives and as I mentioned in a prior holiday-themed peppermint review from earlier this week, nutrition bars also join that fray. Today's review is thinkThin adding another product to their review catalog with this thinkThin Dark Chocolate Peppermint Protein & Fiber Bar being a spin on the holiday peppermint craze. This very thin bar clocks in at 1.41 ounces and has 150 calories and ten grams of protein packed in. It's also a gluten free product as well, so there is that, I suppose.

Review: Zone Perfect Perfectly Simple Peppermint Bark Bar
I find it exponentially amusing that even nutrition bar manufacturers get into the seasonal spirit and release limited edition products that are based on the season. Zone Perfect has already done it once with a pumpkin-flavored bar that I reviewed previously, but now they are going with a peppermint-flavored bar that is focused on the...well, let's just say December traditions (call that my Starbucks red cup play). Anyway, I picked up this seasonally influenced and limited edition Zone Perfect Perfectly Simple Peppermint Bark Bar at Kroger for $1.00. It checks in at 1.41 ounces and has a modest 180 calories with ten grams of protein. It's also gluten free.

Review: thinkThin Pumpkin Spice Protein & Fiber Bar
So I guess it's that time to roll through all the Limited Edition pumpkin-flavored bars since they are overloading the shelves of my local grocery stores. I already looked at one pumpkin-flavored bar earlier this week, so now it's time to add another thinkThin review to the blog and take a look at this thinkThin Pumpkin Spice Protein & Fiber Bar that I was able to pick up at Kroger for $1.00. It clocks in at 1.41 ounces and has a modest 150 calories with ten grams of protein.

Review: Zone Perfect Perfectly Simple Pumpkin Chai Bar
As I've lamented on the blog, it's that time of year for pumpkin-flavored products and why shouldn't Zone Perfect add to their review collection with a pumpkin-flavored product too? It's only fitting since everyone else is doing it. So, I saw this limited edition Zone Perfect Perfectly Simple Pumpkin Chai Bar on sale at my local Kroger for $1.00 and snatched it up to once again be over pumpkined. This bar comes in at 1.41 ounces and has 180 calories with ten grams of protein. It's also gluten free, so there's that going for it too (besides its seasonality).

Review: JELL-O Thick & Rich Chocolate Milkshake Pudding Snacks
JELL-O pudding intrigues me, as you could probably tell if you've seen how frequently I've reviewed it here on the blog. What really intrigues me about it is how they seem to hold certain flavors for certain stores. For example, I've never seen the Boston Cream Pie flavor at any other store buy Meijer. Today's review is another one of those instances where I can only find it at one store locally (so far, it is a Limited Edition after all). So, on a recent trip to Marsh, I picked up this seemingly exclusive four pack of JELL-O Thick & Rich Chocolate Milkshake Pudding Snacks for $2.39. These are so limited and so exclusive that JELL-O doesn't even have room for them on their site. Anyway, each cup is 3.875 ounces and packs in 110 calories per cup.

Review: Larabar Coconut Pineapple Cake Bar
In my last Larabar review, I mentioned how delighted I was to see their products make a return to the blog after nearly a year's absence. Today is the second part of the two bars that I picked up in that shopping trip at Kroger as I picked up this Larabar Coconut Pineapple Cake Bar for $1.00. The bar itself comes in at 1.6 ounces and has 190 calories with a tiny two grams of protein. If you are a big fan of health or at least attempts at health, this bar is also dairy free, gluten free, soy free and vegan.

Review: Larabar Strawberry Shortcake Bar
It's been quite a while since the oft-reviewed Larabar has made an appearance here on the blog. It's been since July 2014, in fact, so it's been almost a year. Each time I go to the store, I stroll through the aisles yearning to see a new flavor pop up that I've never tried, but it's been a lonely stroll for quite a while. On a recent stroll, I was very flabbergasted to see TWO new limited edition Larabar products sitting on the shelf at my local Kroger, so I snatched both up for $1.00 each. Today's review of this Larabar Strawberry Shortcake Bar is the first of those reviews. The bar itself clocks in at 1.6 ounces and has 200 calories with three grams of protein. It's also gluten free and vegan, so yahoo there if that is what floats your boat.

Review: JELL-O Fudge Brownie Pudding Snacks
I know you can't tell from the flow of reviews on the blog because I keep such a backlog of reviews (at least I did before; that backlog is pretty thin now), but today's review is the first review that I've typed up in over a week and I'm finding it hard to get back into the swing of things as I enjoyed my "vacation" too much. Despite that enjoyment, I was recently strolling through my neighborhood Marsh and I saw something on the shelf that just popped out at me and made me decided "VACATION OVER" as I wanted to give this four pack of JELL-O Fudge Brownie Pudding Snacks a review for the blog. This is a limited edition product that adds to the plethora of JELL-O reviews that I've done already. This four pack set me back $2.39 and each container is an oddly sized 3.875 ounces with 120 calories.

Review: JELL-O Pumpkin Spice Cheescake Snacks
I've said it before in reviews, but I'll say it again: I absolutely LOVE pudding and little snack packs of the like. I've reviewed many pudding-type products on the blog throughout the three years of its existence and I've spent a lot of those reviews looking at the seemingly never ending (thankfully) line of JELL-O products. So, it was with great delight that I noticed in a recent trip to Kroger that JELL-O has rolled out a limited edition version of a seasonal treat that happens to be one of my favorite seasonal flavors with this four pack of JELL-O Pumpkin Spice Cheescake Snacks. This one cost me $2.00 and each cup within the pack is 4.25 ounces and has 130 calories. Just to be specific, these are technically pudding snacks as you can see above since the package is clearly labeled "Cheesecake Snacks." It doesn't really matter to me because I was very anxious to dive in.

Review: Oreo Limited Edition Marshmallow Crispy Cookies
Okay, okay...I know I'm kind of selling out with this review. Admittedly, I don't always review healthy foods as I've reviewed my fair share of desserts (ice creams, etc.), but this blog is a business for me after all and I want to generate the page hits that a review like this will bring me. Sorry. Anyway, I believe this is the first time I have ever ventured into the junk food category with today's review of this package of Oreo Marshmallow Crispy Cookies that I somehow got sent to me in the mail in one of the countless promotions that I signed up for (lucky me!). Anyway, this limited edition (they have also introduce a Cookie Dough flavor) package of cookies weighed in at 12.2 ounces and had twelve servings (two cookies per serving) and each serving was 140 calories. Not exactly a diet food, but I clearly knew that going in.
