Review: Quaker Chewy Birthday Cake Granola Bars
It must be new product season for Quaker Chewy bars. Recently, I've noticed and reviewed several of their new Girl Scouts affiliated flavors, but today I'm going to be taking a look at a new product that is not really affiliated with anything except the anniversary of someone's birth and the dessert related to that. Yep, it's a box of eight Quaker Chewy Birthday Cake Granola Bars that I stupidly paid the full price of $2.75 for at Marsh. I say stupidly because they went on sale for $1.99 two days after I bought this box. AARGH! Anyway, each bar in the box clocks in at 0.84 ounces and has 100 calories. Basically, it's a standard Quaker Chewy bar.

Review: Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Thin Mints Granola Bars
I mentioned in my previous Quaker Chewy review of one of their Girl Scouts products that I found it strange that they just wouldn't refer to the flavor by it's actual cookie name (Samoa). Well, that's not a problem in the case of today's review as Quaker happily dubbed this by it's actual cookie name right on the front of this box of Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Thin Mints Granola Bars. The fact that they will put the name on the cookie on the front of this box and will not put the name of the cookie on the other box lends weight to my crazy theory that "Samoa" is somewhat controversial. Anyway, this box of eight bars cost me $2.50 at Kroger and each 0.84 ounce bar has 100 calories packed in.

Review: Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut Granola Bars
I hate paying full price for Quaker Chewy bars and I' m guessing that every time I've bought a Chewy bar for a review on this blog, I only bought it when it was on sale. Actually, that's probably not accurate now that I think about it because every now and then, they'll sneak out a flavor into the wild that totally shocks me. They've done that twice recently with a couple of products that are Girl Scouts branded and today is the first of those reviews as I take a look at this box of eight Quaker Chewy Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut Bars that I picked up at Meijer for the regular price of $2.59. Each of the eight bars in this box are 0.84 ounces and come in at 100 calories with a...actually, I'm not going to talk about the protein here because it really isn't worth it.

Review: Quaker Chewy Caramel Apple Granola Bars
As I mentioned in my last Quaker Chewy bar review, the Quaker machine always keeps on rolling with new Chewy bar flavors. Today's review is the other flavor that I picked up on a recent trip to Meijer that was tagged as a new flavor. Loving Chewy bars and loving new flavors, I giddily grabbed this box of eight Quaker Chewy Caramel Apple Granola Bars off the shelf for the lovely sale price of $1.67. Each bar in the box is 0.84 ounces and comes in at the low end of calorie counts (for Chewy bars) at 90 calories bar.

Review: Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Caramel Popcorn Crunch Granola Bars
I've touched on one of these new Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty granola bars in a prior review and in classic Chewy bar fashion, it was tasty, but certainly not anything that would re-define my life. Even though I've got that prior experience with countless Chewy bars, I was still anxious to dive into this box of five Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Caramel Popcorn Crunch Granola Bars because just the flavor combination seemed intriguing since it is something that I've never seen in granola bar form before. Anyway, I picked up this box up on sale at Meijer for $2.00 and each bar in the box was 1.41 ounces and had 170 calories.

Review: Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Chocolate & Salted Caramel Granola Bars
Hey, hey!! Another new Quaker Chewy product! I hadn't reviewed one of these for a long, long time, so I'm glad Chewy bars can make it back to the blog, albeit in the Big Chewy form. I picked up a box of six of these Quaker Big Chewy Sweet & Salty Chocolate & Salted Caramel Granola Bars on sale at Meijer for $2.00 and each bar in the box weighs in at 1.41 ounces (it's 60% bigger!) with a robust 170 calories. I guess it is a BIG Chewy bar after all, so that calorie count shouldn't surprise me.

Review: Kashi Berry Lemonade with Chia Chewy Granola Bars
Kashi released the subject of today's review a few months back, but since I'm so tight fisted and cheap, I've resisted buying a box of these because I did not want to pay full price just to add another review to the Kashi catalog. Recently on a trip to Meijer though, they had a box of six of these for sale at a decent enough price for me ($3.00) that I decided to pick it up and try out this "new" flavor of Kashi Berry Lemonade with Chia Chewy Granola Bars. Like I said, there are six bars in the box and each bar is 1.2 ounces and 120 calories with six grams of protein.

Review: Quaker Chewy School Days! Amazing Apple Granola Bar
I mentioned in one of my previous review of Quaker's Chewy School Days! bars that this School Days! line is a product exclusive to Target stores. On that same trip, I picked up a box of these Quaker Chewy School Days! Amazing Apple Granola Bars for $2.29. Each box contains eight bars that weigh 0.91 ounces and have 100 calories each. Since this is in fact School Days!, the box is cutely modeled after a lunch box in hopes that parents will take the not so subtle hint and toss one of these into their kids lunch boxes for a school day treat. Those people at Quaker are pretty crafty, eh?

Review: Quaker Chewy School Days! Best Berry Granola Bar
Writing this review of another Quaker Chewy bar makes me feel kind of like Michael Corleone's quote "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me right back in" from The Godfather, Part 3. I thought I had reviewed gotten all the Quaker Chewy bars, but little did I know that there was another group of iterations of their Chewy bar line in the stores with this School Days! offshoot. Curiosity killed the cat and it will eventually kill me as well, so with that curiosity in mind, I picked up a box of Quaker Chewy School Days! Best Berry Granola Bars at Target (it's a Target exclusive product) for $2.29. Each box contains eight bars and each bar is 0.91 ounces with 100 calories. What make these bars "School Days!" is that they are specifically angled toward being a healthy snack to put in to your kids' lunch boxes. They couldn't be more blatant about that intent based on the design of the box, eh?

Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Dark Chocolatey Granola Bar
For the longest time in my life, I could have gone with or without eating chocolate. I mean, chocolate was okay and I would eat it when it was by me, but I had no particular passion for it and never really actively sought it out. That said, my sister's boyfriend once told me that he heard that people's taste change every seven years, so perhaps that's what's happened to me since I crave chocolate 24 hours a day now and go out of my way to seek it out. Strange. One thing I've always loved, no matter what time in my life, is granola and when Quaker mixes their standard granola Chewy bars with chocolate, or dark chocolate in this case, I'm immediately intrigued even though I'm not the world's biggest dark chocolate fan. Still, I stayed away from this Quaker Chewy Dipps Dark Chocolatey Granola Bar for the longest time and went with the other Dipps bars because their names just sounded "sexier" in my mind. After making my way through the product line in prior reviews, I finally decided it was time to review this one that I picked up in a box of six on sale at Meijer for $2.00. Each bar is 1.09 ounces and 140 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter Granola Bar
Being that this isn't my first Dipps review, I'll spare you the long introduction. Basically, these are the decadent version of Quaker's standard Chewy granola bars of which I've done several reviews. What makes them decadent? Well, that's easy...it's the chocolate. Anyway, I picked this box of Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter granola bars up at Meijer on sale for $2.00 for a box of five. Each bar comes in it at 1.05 ounces (smaller than the other Dipps bars by 0.04 ounces; hmm...) and has 150 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Yogurt Strawberry Granola Bar
Quaker Chewy has a million products, blah, blah, blah...okay, I've done that one before. When I first started this blog, I thought it would be easy to write these posts every time I wanted to do a review, but when you write enough of these reviews, you kind of run out of ways to tie each product to a story about your life back to the product, which is what all blog "experts" say you should do when you build a successful blog. Since I've written so many Chewy bar reviews and will continue to do so, I've run out of semi-interesting ways to relate them to my life (trust me, my life is not that interesting), so this is what you get...a half-hearted attempt to generate content. Anyway, much like my last review of the Chewy Yogurt bars, I picked a box of five of these Chewy Strawberry Yogurt Granola Bars at Meijer for $2.00. Each bar is 1.23 ounces and has 150 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Cookies & Cream Granola Bar
As if you couldn't tell by the absurd amount of reviews here, I really like the endless variations of Chewy bar products produced by Quaker. As long as they keep putting out good ones, I'll keep trying them. I've already done a couple of Dipps reviews, but now I'm not to another review of this Dipps Cookies & Cream granola bar. I picked up a box of six of these at Meijer on sale for $2.00. Each bar comes in at 1.09 ounces and is 140 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Cookies & Cream Granola Bar
I'm starting to get Quaker Chewy fatigue and that's only from reviewing their original line of Chewy bars. I've done countless reviews of them already and I'm sure there will be countless more because I'm guessing that Quaker will never stop introducing new flavors. So, my quest leads me to this Cookies & Cream Chewy granola bar. I picked it up at Meijer as part of a of ten pack combination box on sale for $2.00. It is the typical Chewy bar weight of 0.84 ounces and contains 90 calories. One thing that is different about this is that it is 25% less sugar, so I'm guessing that less sugar chops ten calories off because most times, these bars are an even hundred calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Bar
It's funny how when companies run out of ideas for new product creations, they just take old ideas, slightly alter them and the re-package them as something else. There's nothing wrong with it, but I just find it amusing. A major offender of this is Quaker Oats and what they do with their Chewy bars of which I've eaten plenty. The have the original Chewy bars, but then came up with a Dipps line of bars where they just took the original bars and covered them in chocolate...up until now. It seems as if they've slightly altered that and taken one of their original bars and covered it in peanut butter coating and for the first time ever, have come out with a new bar called the Quaker Chewy Dipps Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Bar (no full website for this "stealth" product yet). Seeing that this was a first, I hurriedly snatched a box of six bars on sale at my local Meijer for $2.00. Each bar in the box comes in at 1.09 ounces and contains 140 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Cocoa Chocolate Swirl Granola Bar
Review number two in the series of reviewing Quaker Chewy's "premium" line of Cocoa granola bars made with REAL cocoa takes me to the Chocolate Swirl granola bar. My first review took a look at the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavor and came back with a positive review, so I held high hopes for this one as this bar seemed to be quite similar. I picked it up as part of a box of eight at Meijer on sale for $2.00 and each bar weighs 0.84 ounces and contains 90 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Low Fat S'mores Granola Bar
In the long list of Quaker Chewy granola bar flavor reviews, we come to the next flavor in the series, the Low Fat S'mores granola bar. I don't have an individual price as I picked it up as part of a variety pack, but this one is 0.84 ounces, 90 calories and as the name implies, is meant to simulate the old campfire treat of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate. Of course, since this is a granola bar, they've substituted out the graham cracker for granola mix, but I won't hold that against them.

Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Caramel Nut Granola Bar
Quaker is apparently very fond of their Chewy bar product line and/or the must have huge successes with it because along with their original Chewy bars, they have several different variations of the bars. I've reviewed several of these Chewy bars already, but today is my first review of the Dipps extension of the Chewy line with this Chewy Dipps Caramel Nut bar. I picked up a box of six of these on sale at Meijer for $2.00 and each bar clocks in at 1.09 ounces (larger than a traditional Chewy bar which is 0.84 ounces) and has 140 calories.

Review: Quaker Chewy Smashbar Graham Pretzel Bar
Having made my way through and having reviewed nearly every original Quaker Chewy bar that exists and also one from bar from their Smashbar line of products, I was curious to try out another flavor in their Chewy Smashbar line and that led me to this Graham Pretzel bar. With the same dimensions (0.84 ounces) as the original Chewy bars and also roughly the same calorie count (90 calories) as a lot of the originals, this bar is very similar to those originals. For reference, I picked a box of eight of these at Meijer for $2.49.

Review: Quaker Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bar
As you've seen on this blog in my endless reviews, Quaker has a ton of these Chewy granola bars. I've been holding off on reviewing this Chocolate Chip flavor for one reason: it's about as pedestrian as you can possibly get. Don't get me wrong, chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorite things on this planet, so I've got nothing against the flavor. I'd just rather review stuff first that people may be curious about as to something that is an old standby like a chocolate chip granola bar. I almost feel as if I'd be just mailing it in if I did a review on this one. But, since I did see a commercial for this flavor specifically the other day while watching the Food Network, apparently Quaker feels it is noteworthy enough of a flavor to have it star in a commercial, so I guess I should throw a review out there.
That said, this one is 100 calories and since it was bought as a part of a super awesome mega 48 pack at Sam's Club, I'm not able to attach a until price to it. Quaker does sell these Chocolate Chip ones in smaller boxes as part of variety packs or part of ten bar boxes where they are all chocolate chip.
