Review: Dannon Light & Fit Greek Crunch Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt
I think it would be great to work at these major manufacturing companies. I think their Research and Development departments mainly consist of sitting around and looking at their old products and then "developing" new and interesting ways to package them. It's obvious Dannon is this way because today's review is of something I've reviewed before, albeit with a very slight twist. With that, I snatched up this 5.0 ounce container of Dannon Light & Fit Greek Crunch Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt at Kroger for $1.29 and within it are 130 calories and eleven grams of protein. So, it's definitely light and it's definitely fit.

Review: Yoplait Light Apple Fritter Yogurt
Buying a bunch of Yoplait products over a couple of grocery store trips for multiple reviews seemed like a good idea at the time. Of course, any time you go to a grocery store while hungry, anything involving MORE food sounds like a good idea. Now, I have to admit that I've gotten bored with these, but I don't want to waste things and that leads me to review this single serving container of Yoplait Light Apple Fritter Yogurt that I picked up on sale at Meijer for $0.50. Each container is 90 calories and has five grams of protein. It's also only a two point hit on the Weight Watchers PointsPlus scale, much like the rest of these that I've looked at in reviews.

Review: Yoplait Light Orange Creme Yogurt
As I continue to plow through my recent string of Yoplait reviews, today's review is the first time that there's something slightly different (other than the obvious thing that it is a different product). This is the first time that I haven't paid a measly $0.20 for one of these cups, so it's a little depressing. Actually, I'm not that much of a tight wad...it's not depressing at all. I still got this one on sale, albeit at a different price ($0.50) and at a different store (Meijer), so it's still a very economical buy. Anyway, this cup of Yoplait Light Orange Creme Yogurt clocks in at the usual 6.0 ounces and it has 90 calories with five grams of protein. Like the others, it's also a two point hit on the Weight Watchers PointsPlus scale.

Review: Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy Key Lime Pie Yogurt
So, I've been plowing my way through these non-Greek Yoplait yogurt reviews recently and today is my first foray into another one of their product lines as I take a look at this Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy Key Lime Pie Yogurt that I also picked up at Marsh on sale for the bargain basement price of $0.20. As I was looking around, I noticed that Yoplait doesn't really change their flavors from product line to product line...all they do is change the consistency of the yogurt. Since I've looked at Yoplait Light yogurts so far, I found that those yogurts were loose and somewhat runny. Based on the name of this one, I'd expect that this one would be the antithesis of that. Anyway, this one is 6.0 ounces like the others and the "upgrade" to thick and creamy means that this one picks up an additional ten calories and two grams of protein, thus coming in at 100 calories with seven grams of protein.

Review: Yoplait Light Raspberry Cheesecake Yogurt
Anyone that reads the blog on a semi-regular basis has probably figured out that I'm a penny pincher and am not at all shy about admitting it. I actually wear it as a badge of pride, so when I see something that is only going to set me back $0.20 at the store, I'm more than willing to grab it and I did it once already with these Yoplait Light products. On that same trip, I decided I had another twenty cents to burn, so I picked up this container of Yoplait Light Raspberry Cheesecake Yogurt as well. It's 6.0 ounces and has 90 calories with five grams of protein. It's also free of aspartame if you notice the container and apparently Yoplait is quite proud of that as they've called it out on their website. Apparently a bunch of people wrote in asking them to remove it, so they went ahead and found a substitute (sucralose), changed the lids to blue and changed the containers to indicate this big change. Good for them and also us, I suppose. Anyway, this is worth two points on the Weight Watchers PointsPlus scale too if you watch that.

Review: Yoplait Light Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Yogurt
I've reviewed plenty of Yoplait yogurts on this blog in the past, but I've never really touched on their original yogurt products that come in the odd and somewhat cylindrical shaped containers for some reason. Maybe I considered them too pedestrian, too cheap, too boring or some sort of combination of all of those, but I always stayed away. With today's review, I'm finally crossing the threshold of that and I picked up a container of this Yoplait Light Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Yogurt on sale at my local Marsh for a measly $0.20. Each container is 6.0 ounces and has 90 calories and five grams of protein. It's worth two points on the Weight Watchers PointsPlus scale if you are in to watching (get it?) that kind of thing as well.

Review: Breyers Blasts! SNICKERS Bar Light Ice Cream
Everyone knows that SNICKERS is a classic dessert add-in (and candy bar). Because it's a classic, I often times view it as boring. But, armed with a sale and a need to pick up more desserts, I was willing to put that boredom aside and pick up a container of Breyers Blasts! SNICKERS Bar Light Ice Cream to add to my ever growing catalog of Breyers reviews. I got this 1.5 quart container on sale for $3.00 and each container has the usual twelve half-cup servings and each serving is a "light" 150 calories. It seems like most of the Breyers Blasts! flavors are made using frozen dairy dessert, so it's rare to come across one that is actually ice cream, albeit light, like this one is. What is most amazing about this is that when I did a search of the internet for other reviews like I do each time I do an ice cream review, I couldn't find hardly anything around this flavor. I guess others might find it boring and not worthy of a review. I just feel special now since I'm doing a review...or something.

Review: Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar
I've always known that Muscle Milk has its own line of nutrition bars, but I've always stayed away from them because I've primarily viewed them as being for the meathead types. I know I've reviewed those types of bars on this blog before, but for some reason, I drew the line with Muscle Milk. Despite that, I've had several of their protein shakes and have had a wide range of experiences with them. With that ridiculous explanation now over, I was recently cruising through Meijer recently when I saw that Muscle Milk now had a light line of mars that were "New! Improved!", so I figured then was as good of a time as any to grab one for a review. This Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar itself set me back $1.33 (on sale) and is 1.59 ounces with 170 calories and fifteen hearty grams of protein.
