Review: Dannon Light & Fit Greek Crunch Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt

I think it would be great to work at these major manufacturing companies.  I think their Research and Development departments mainly consist of sitting around and looking at their old products and then "developing" new and interesting ways to package them.  It's obvious Dannon is this way because today's review is of something I've reviewed before, albeit with a very slight twist.  With that, I snatched up this 5.0 ounce container of Dannon Light & Fit Greek Crunch Strawberry Cheesecake Greek Yogurt at Kroger for $1.29 and within it are 130 calories and eleven grams of protein.  So, it's definitely light and it's definitely fit.

Review: Chobani Simply 100 Crunch Mango Cone Crisp Greek Yogurt

So here we go.  The empire of Chobani continues to expand.  I've mentioned it before, but it never ceases to amaze me...when I started this blog, Chobani was a cute little upstart.  In that 4+ years, they've become a powerhouse with multiple product lines spanning the yogurt section of the refrigerator at the grocery store.  It's also helped make Greek yogurt mainstream and there's so much Greek yogurt out there now compared to four years ago that it's insane when I really step back and think about it.  Today's Chobani Simply 100 Crunch Mango Cone Crisp Greek Yogurt is the product of one of those new product lines.  It's a smallish 4.2 ounces and has 100 calories and ten grams of protein.  As with all Chobani products, it's also all natural.

Review: Chobani flip Strawberry Summer Crisp Greek Yogurt

I think I've mentioned this before, but I remember the early review days of this blog when Chobani was the new kid on the block and the little engine that could.  Now, thanks to the Greek yogurt craze (which they helped start), they are a powerhouse!  Continually rolling out new flavors, new designs, etc.  They are everywhere.  It's another one of those new things that led me to pick up one of their limited batch products recently at Marsh when I grabbed this single serving container of Chobani flip Strawberry Summer Crisp Greek Yogurt for $1.25.  It's 5.3 ounces with 190 calories and twelve grams of protein.

Review: Chef Robert Irvine's FortiFX Fit Crunch Cookies and Cream Protein Bar

I've mentioned many times on this blog that I really like the Food Network and on that network, one of my favorite chefs is Robert Irvine.  Not because he's necessarily the world's greatest chef, but because he's a charismatic and engaging personality and his shows are generally pretty good.  I took a look at one of his bars long ago and I liked it quite a bit, but I've had difficulty finding them since then, thus the absence.  On a recent sojourn to the Walmart Neighborhood Market, I was finally able to stumble upon a different flavor in this Chef Robert Irvine's FortiFX Fit Crunch Cookies and Cream Protein Bar that I grabbed for $1.99.  This one clocks in at 1.62 ounces with 190 calories and sixteen grams of protein, by the way.

Review: EAS Lean 15 S'mores Bar

It's been a long, long (so long I said it twice) time since I took a look at an EAS product here in a review.  Actually, it's been close to two years, so that is a really long time.  Anyway, when I was ambling through my local Kroger recently, I noticed an EAS bar flavor that I had never seen before and quickly snatched up this EAS Lean 15 S'mores Bar for $1.49.  It clocks in at 1.76 ounces with 210 calories and is PACKED (their website emphasizes that) with fifteen grams of protein.

Review: Ciao Bella Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares

I can always tell when a neighborhood starts to think that it is more important than it actually is.  Usually that means that a Whole Foods and/or Fresh Market moves into the neighborhood and in the case of my neighborhood, we recently got a Fresh Market.  Yippee, I guess.  Anyway, as I was strolling through the Fresh Market store on its opening weekend, I noticed that they had a pretty solid sale on Ciao Bella products that allowed me to buy one and get a second one free.  So, normal price was $5.99, so I got two boxes of these gelato squares for half that price (second review will come later).  This first box of Ciao Bella Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares has four individually wrapped squares and each square is 4.0 fluid ounces and 250 calories.

Review: Kashi Blackberry Graham Soft-Baked Cereal Bar

Money doesn't grow on trees and neither do reviews, so any time that I'm able to pick up a new food for a review at my company's daily snack time, my wallet certainly appreciates it. With that, I'm led to another Kashi review with this snack time inspired review of this Kashi Blackberry Graham Soft-Baked Cereal Bar. This all natural bar comes in at 1.2 ounces and has 120 calories with a teensy two grams of protein.
