Review: Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar

I've always known that Muscle Milk has its own line of nutrition bars, but I've always stayed away from them because I've primarily viewed them as being for the meathead types.  I know I've reviewed those types of bars on this blog before, but for some reason, I drew the line with Muscle Milk.  Despite that, I've had several of their protein shakes and have had a wide range of experiences with them.  With that ridiculous explanation now over, I was recently cruising through Meijer recently when I saw that Muscle Milk now had a light line of mars that were "New! Improved!", so I figured then was as good of a time as any to grab one for a review.  This Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Peanut Caramel Protein Bar itself set me back $1.33 (on sale) and is 1.59 ounces with 170 calories and fifteen hearty grams of protein.

Review: Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple Frozen Dessert

To say my last Arctic Zero review was underwhelming would be an accurate statement.  I think these hyper low calorie frozen desserts are an awesome idea, but they can get a little pricey.  If the product has good flavor though, that price is worth it in order to save some calories (some of the Walden Farms products, for example).  Since I picked up a couple of pints on my trip, it's time to take a look at this Arctic Zero Vanilla Maple Frozen Dessert that I picked up on the same trip to Kroger for $4.99 (sale price).  It's 150 calories per pint and like most pints of ice cream, it contains four half-cup servings.

Review: Muscle Milk Strawberries 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake

In previous Muscle Milk reviews, I've been pleasantly surprised each time by how much I liked their protein nutrition shakes.  I went in each time with low expectations and each time, they far exceeded those expectations to make a quality product.  Expecting that experience again, I figured I would dive into another Muscle Milk product with this review of their Muscle Milk Strawberries 'N Creme Protein Nutrition Shake.  As with all of these, I picked it up at Thornton's in a free promotion and in an occurrence of hilarity (in my mind), this one has sat in my refrigerator for eight months and still has a comfortable amount of time before its shelf life expires.  Wow, these dairy free products (translation: pure chemicals) are amazing.  Anyway, a fourteen fluid ounce container of this shake is 220 calories and has 25 grams of protein.
