Review: Chobani Cinnamon Pear Blended Greek Yogurt

I'll be the first to admit that I haven't had a lot of experience in my life eating pears.  Not because I dislike them or anything, but because it's just one of those fruits that never has really been in my house as either a child or adult.  So, when Chobani released a limited batch Greek Yogurt that included pears and cinnamon, which I have eaten a ton of, I was kinda curious to add another review to the Chobani collection.  So, I picked up this single serving container of Chobani Cinnamon Pear Blended Greek Yogurt at Meijer for $1.09 and each 5.3 ounce cup is made up of 140 calories and twelve grams of protein.  It's also got 2% milkfat and is all natural, gluten free, kosher and vegetarian, so there is all that as well.

Review: Chobani Pear 0% Greek Yogurt

As I've read in my several business and financial magazines that I read, business is booming at Chobani as they are one of the first companies to take advantage of the Greek yogurt craze.  As a way to differentiate themselves, they've introduced several new products in order to expand their profile.  Still, it's sometimes helpful to remember the products that brought you to the dance and today's review of this Chobani Pear 0% Greek Yogurt is one of those products.  I've stayed away from this flavor on the blog for some reason, but today is as good of a day as any to round out some of those core flavors (I'll be hitting on another later). I got this 6.0 ounces cup at Meijer on sale for $1.00 and each cup is 130 calories, has fourteen grams of protein and is made with all natural ingredients.

Review: Nature's Bakery Stone Ground Whole Wheat Raspberry Fig Bar

After my last Nature's Bakery review, Nature's Bakery itself responded via my Twitter feed that I need to try out their vanilla raspberry bar and while this Nature's Bakery Stone Ground Whole Wheat Raspberry Fig Bar isn't exactly that, it is close and here we are with another review of one of their products.  Actually, I had already purchased this, so I planned on trying another flavor anyway, but it was nice of them to interact via Twitter and give me a (biased) recommendation.  This package, just like the last, is made up of two separate fig bars and the entire contents have a combined weight of 2.0 ounces.  Each  bar in the package is 110 calories and has two grams of protein.

Review: CLIF Special Twentieth Anniversary Gary's Panforte Bar

For those of you that don't know, this is the twentieth anniversary of CLIF bar and because of that, they're been releasing a special twentieth anniversary, limited edition blend entitled Gary's Panforte bar named their founder and named that way to be reminiscent of his cycling journeys through the mountains of Northern Italy so long ago.  By Panforte, Gary means that this bar is full of fruits, nuts and spices and it's based on an 800 year old recipe from Italy.  I got this one through a free promotion on their Facebook page celebrating this anniversary and it is the CLIF bar standard 2.4 ounces.  This one's a little different though as it has a more robust 260 calories and less protein than usual with only five grams.
