Review: Six Star Pro Nutrition Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bar

For some reason, my initial Six Star Pro Nutrition review is one of the most viewed posts in this blog's history and certainly the most commented, although 99.9% of those comments have been spam that have never made it to my comments section.  Not sure how either of those things happen, but since these are apparently popular (probably because they can be found at Walmart), I decided I better snatch up another to up my readership and that leads to today's review of this Six Star Pro Nutrition Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bar that I picked up for $1.25.  Each bar is 1.7 ounces and has 200 calories and twenty grams of protein.

Being that this is a chocolate peanut butter bar, I didn't really expect that there would be anything fancy about this bar and those were solid expectations as this was just a basic bar with a chocolate coating and a peanut butter interior.  The chocolate was odorless and the peanut butter did have a moderately sweet smell.  Inside that peanut butter were the typical soy crisps injected to add a moderate bit of crunch.

When I bit into this, I wasn't expecting much and that was a false expectation.  What I got was something the reminded me of a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, albeit with slightly sweeter peanut butter.  The chocolate melted in my mouth and the peanut butter made for a chewy and sweet treat.  I can't really describe this much other than by comparing it to the , but I can easily say that this was absolutely delicious.

Buy It or Fly By It?  Sure this bar is packed with protein and for those looking for protein, that's always positive.  What makes this even more positive is the fact that it was incredibly delicious and did an awesome job representing a very good candy, so that means BUY IT in my book.  Frankly, this was so delicious that I was sad when it was done because I wanted more, more, more.  If you are ever in Walmart and see this, you should grab it.  Or you can just buy it off their website.  Whichever way you get it, I think you'll be delighted after eating it.

BUY IT!!
