Review: Quaker Chewy Dipps Dark Chocolatey Granola Bar

For the longest time in my life, I could have gone with or without eating chocolate.  I mean, chocolate was okay and I would eat it when it was by me, but I had no particular passion for it and never really actively sought it out.  That said, my sister's boyfriend once told me that he heard that people's taste change every seven years, so perhaps that's what's happened to me since I crave chocolate 24 hours a day now and go out of my way to seek it out.  Strange.  One thing I've always loved, no matter what time in my life, is granola and when Quaker mixes their standard granola Chewy bars with chocolate, or dark chocolate in this case, I'm immediately intrigued even though I'm not the world's biggest dark chocolate fan.  Still, I stayed away from this Quaker Chewy Dipps Dark Chocolatey Granola Bar for the longest time and went with the other Dipps bars because their names just sounded "sexier" in my mind.  After making my way through the product line in prior reviews, I finally decided it was time to review this one that I picked up in a box of six on sale at Meijer for $2.00.  Each bar is 1.09 ounces and 140 calories.

Review: CLIF Kid Z Bar Honey Graham Bar

I had reviewed some CLIF Kid Z Bars quite a while ago but since I thought I had touched on all their product offerings, I hadn't really paid attention to them in the stores until recently when my Kroger iPhone application gave me the option of an in store coupon for Z Bars.  Being the coupon hawk that I am, I "clipped" the coupon in the app and went to make a purchase, figuring that it would just be flavors I had seen before.  Much to my surprise, there were two new flavors of Z Bars and this review of the CLIF Kid Z Bar Honey Graham Bar is the first of those two reviews.  With the coupon, I got this for around $0.75 and it's 1.27 ounces with 120 calories and tiny two grams of protein and a lot of whole grains.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the low protein level...this is a bar for kids and it is a snack bar.

Review: Muller Corner Lowfat Yogurt with Blueberry

So I mentioned in my previous Muller review that their products just popped up out of nowhere on a trip that I had made to my grocery store.  The following week, not only had they popped up out of nowhere, but they were also now being featured in a weekly ad circular as part of their debut at Kroger.  Since I had good success with my first Muller product, I was more than eager to try out another Muller product, this time focusing on their Corner line with this Muller Corner Lowfat Yogurt with Blueberry.  This Corner product comes in at 5.3 ounces and has 140 calories and seven grams of protein.  I picked it up at the aforementioned Kroger for $1.00.

Review: Quaker Real Medleys Apple Walnut Oatmeal +

Up until about a year ago, I went through about a four to five year stretch where I ate oatmeal for dinner about 3-5 times per week.  It was ridiculous.  Finally, I think I got burned out on it and now I only have it sporadically.  So, as I was walking through the breakfast aisle at Meijer recently, I spotted a sale on Quaker products and decided that I'd pick up one of their oatmeal products and do yet another Quaker review, so that leads me to this review of their semi-new Quaker Real Medleys Apple Walnut Oatmeal +.  This was priced on sale at $1.50 and it is 2.64 ounces with 290 calories.  Today is also National Oatmeal Day, so I can think of no better day to post this review!

Site News: Richard Nixon Week!

With the United States presidential election coming up, I've been getting all geeked up on politics and I figured this week was just as good of a time as any to celebrate one of our most commonly misunderstood presidents with a tribute to Richard Nixon.  Sure he had the Watergate thing, the White House recordings thing, the China thing, etc., but he really wasn't a bad guy, so we should celebrate him.

Okay, I can't take this joke any farther.  This week really isn't going to be a celebration of him, but instead of something that he was.  For those of you that didn't know, Richard Nixon was a Quaker and this upcoming week, I'm going to post a review from the manufacturer that has the most reviews on this blog in Quaker Oats.  See how I drew the correlation between the two there?  Yeah, I'm pretty sharp and witty.

Anyway, I've been encountering a lot of their products out of their enormous product catalog recently and have been trying them left and right (mostly Muller yogurt, which Quaker is the parent company), so I'm going to put up a Quaker-related review every day next week.  Hope you enjoy!

Review: Planters NUT-rition Energy Mix Berry Nut Peanut Butter

Armed with another freebie that this time was provided by the My Coke Rewards program, I headed out to my local Kroger to grab another sample from the Planters NUT-rition peanut butter line with this jar of Planters NUT-rition Energy Mix Berry Nut Peanut Butter.  My last Planters review of the NUT-rition peanut butter line was met with very high expectations that were ultimately let down, so I was a bit more subdued as I head into this review.  Before I get started, I better cover the nutritional information, so this one has 180 calories per two tablespoon serving and there's about ten servings per twelve ounce jar.

Review: Breyers S'mores Frozen Dairy Dessert

This review is humorous to be for a couple reasons.  Prior to starting this blog, I was okay with ice cream/frozen dairy dessert, but didn't particularly love it.  It was the same way with s'mores...I liked them, but didn't particularly love them.  After reviewing tons of products involving one or both of these things, I now LOVE them both, so when I saw another Breyers product with this Breyers S'mores Frozen Dairy Dessert on sale at Kroger, I knew I had to grab it to give it a try for a review (plus the "New" tagline roped me in too).  The 1.5 quart container was on sale for $2.99 and each serving is 170 calories per serving.  There's about fourteen servings per container.

Review: Fage Total 2% Greek Yogurt with Peach

One of my favorite things about the summer is the plethora of peaches that make it into the grocery stores.  What I like even more, since I'm a Grade A bargain shopper, is that the prices of those peaches go way down to the point that the stores are almost giving them away.  That said, it seems pretty odd that I'd want to add to my Fage Greek yogurt review series with a review of a pre-packaged peach product with this Fage Total 2% Greek Yogurt with Peach single serving cup as opposed to eating something fresh, eh?  Oh well, I guess that's why this blog is named like it is.  Anyway, this was picked up on sale at Kroger for $1.00 as usual and each cup is 5.3 ounces with 140 calories and twelve grams of protein.

Review: Larabar Uber Apple Turnover Fruit & Nut Bar

Like I said in my last Larabar review, I've been hard on Larabar product in general in my reviews, but I found that I liked the first bar that I tried out of their Uber line of bars that I had the last time.  With that positive outcome, I was anxious to give this Larabar Uber Apple Turnover Fruit & Nut Bar a try as it was once again from their sweet and salty Uber bar line.  Like the last, I picked this up on sale at Kroger for $0.99 and it comes in at 1.42 ounces with 190 calories and has three grams of protein.  Like all bars in this line, Uber means awesome and while the last bar was not awesome, so to speak, it was quite could. Could Uber continue its winning streak?  I guess you'll just have to keep reading to find out!

Review: Skinny Cow Slimited Editions Double Chocolate Crumble Shake-Stirs Shake

I've spent several reviews trying to worship at the altar of the Skinny Cow.  Sometimes it is worthy of worship and other times, it is just plain deplorable.  Within the past year, Skinny Cow debuted its Slimited Editions line of products and wanting to try out another one of those products, I picked up this Skinny Cow Slimited Editions Double Chocolate Crumble Shake-Stirs Shake at Kroger basically for free since I had a coupon and it was also on sale for $1.00.  The shake itself requires that you add milk to it (the container just contains the ice cream and mix-ins base) and is 8.1 ounces pre-milk and 11 ounces post-milk.  Pre and post milk calories counts are 200 and 230.  For the purposes of this review, I decided to review only the ice cream and mix-in base as I'm pretty sure I already know what milk tastes like.  Actually, that's a fib...I didn't have any milk on hand and I wanted an ice cream treat, so I just decided to let it fly without.  In case you are interested, this one also is five points on the Weight Watchers Points Plus scale.

Review: fullbar Double Chocolate Cocoa Chip Bar

It's been a while since I've eaten one of these fullbars and done a review.  I've had them sitting in my drawer at work for a rainy day and I didn't have any lunch with me on a particular day that it coincidentally happened to be raining, so the expression actually held true.  This fullbar Double Chocolate Cocoa Chip Bar was part of a shipment of samples that I received from fullbar, so I don't have a unit price, but what I can tell you is that it is 1.59 ounces, 160 calories and has five grams of protein.  It also provides "Dual-Action Fullness", so take that!  I have no idea why I find that so amusing or why it took me this long to notice that tagline on the bar, but it does seem kind of silly.

Review: Liberte Greek Strawberry Yogurt

"Give me Liberty, or give me Death!" is a famous quote by American patriot Patrick Henry and when I was thumbing my way through the Kroger ad recently, I saw an advertisement Liberte Greek Strawberry Yogurt and my warped mind was immediately reminded of that quote and I got sort of a chuckle out of it.  What makes it even more deranged is that Liberte is a product from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, so there is nothing even remotely relating it to Patrick Henry.  I guess all the election hubbub that is going on now has me thinking a lot about politics and American statesmen.  So, like I said, I saw this in a Kroger advertisement and I picked it up there for $1.00.  It's 5.3 ounces and has 130 calories with eleven grams of protein.

Review: FRS Healthy Energy Wild Berry Energy Drink

I'd be foolish to think I've heard of everything, even though I sometimes act like I have heard of everything.  So, when wandering through Kroger one day, I found something that I truly had never heard of with this FRS Healthy Energy Wild Berry Energy Drink.  Curious to see what it was prior to taking a test, I visited their website and found out it is an energy drink preferred by athletes (supposedly).  One of those athletes just happens to be overrated/untalented quarterback/runningback/POS Tim Tebow, who I despise by the way.  I figure if Tebow endorses this product, it must really suck.  It was still worth a try though, so here we are.  Like I said, I grabbed this at Kroger and it has a regular price of $2.49 and it is twelve ounces and 90 calories.  The active ingredient in this is Quercetin, which according to their website is a "powerful, all-natural antioxidant found in red fruits and vegetables."  Alrighty then...I've never heard of it, but as my opening sentence said, I haven't heard of everything.

Review: WholeSoy & Co. Blueberry Soy Yogurt

In my first WholeSoy & Co. review of their soy yogurt, I was struck by how strange the whole idea and taste of soy yogurt was.  Still, I gave it a positive review because while I fully knew it was weird, it was at least edible.  So, heading into this second review of one of their products with this WholeSoy & Co. Blueberry Soy Yogurt, I was expecting more oddness, but I was at least willing to give it a chance.  Being that blueberries have got to be my favorite type of fruit flavoring for yogurts, I was expecting a little bit more out of this review than I was out of the last review.  Like the last one, I picked this up at Kroger for $1.00 and it is six ounces with 150 calories and six grams of protein.  It's also dairy free, gluten free, organic and blah, blah, blah.

Review: Muller FrutUp Blueberry Bliss Lowfat Yogurt with Fruit Mousse

Just when I think I've got figured out in life, I managed to get a curveball thrown my way.  In the case of this review, it's that way with Quaker throwing me a curveball with something that is unlike my previous reviews. What I mean is that I always figured that Quaker stuck to oats and granola related snack and breakfast products, but one day I was walking through the dairy case in my local Meijer and I found this Muller FrutUp Blueberry Bliss Lowfat Yogurt with Fruit Mousse, which was a product I had never seen before, so I became curious.  Upon closer inspection, I saw the good ol' Quaker Oats man on the container, so much to my surprise, it was then that I found out that Quaker is not just breakfast and snacks, but also dairy and with some more research, I've also come to find out it is a European import.  It makes sense, but it was a surprise to me nonetheless.  Anyway, piqued by curiosity, I grabbed this 5.3 ounce container out of the dairy case for $1.00 and was anxious to give it a try.  By the way, it's 140 calories and has seven grams of protein.

Review: Kashi Chocolate Soft-Baked Square

Outside of CLIF products, I don't think I've been harder on a particular product manufacturer than I have in my Kashi reviews.  Most everything I tried was downright horrible and I was quite upset to be eating it.  That said, being the sucker for free samples that I am, I went ahead and decided to try out this Kashi Chocolate Soft-Baked Square and see if this what I consider to be a dessert product was similar to their "nutrition" products that I so genuinely despised.  Like I said, this was a free sample of a new product and it comes in at 1.4 ounces with 160 calories.

Review: Quaker Stila Crispy Oat Cookie Bar with Strawberry

As I was preparing to write this review, I was thinking about the number of Quaker products/flavors that are on the store shelves of America.  In my mind, I was trying to figure out which number was higher:  the number of Quaker products/flavors or the number of dollars required to fund Obamacare (shoot me, it's close to election time).  I figured it was close, but unfortunately, I could never come up with an answer.  Nonsense aside, here's another Quaker review with this Quaker Stila Crispy Oat Cookie Bar with Strawberry.  I picked up a box of six of these at Marsh on sale for $2.00 and each 0.91 ounce cookie bar has 100 calories.

Review: Magnum Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bar

I've never been shy on this blog about my general dislike of dark chocolate. Actually, that's not fair...given the option, I prefer all other types of chocolate over dark chocolate.  If dark chocolate is the only chocolate available, I'll certainly eat it, but I'll just wish it was one of the other types of chocolate.  Anyway, because of my lack of preference for dark chocolate, I've always stayed away from this Magnum Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bar despite the fact that I've done reviews of all the Magnum ice cream bars with the exceptions of this one and the Mint one, which I've stayed away from for the same reasons as the Dark Chocolate bar.  In my local Kroger recently with a coupon that allowed me to save if I bought two boxes, I picked up a box of this Dark Chocolate bar and also a box of the Mint bar, so that one will be forthcoming later.  The sale price for this box was $3.00 and it contains three bars per box.  Each bar is 2.7 ounces and contains 240 calories.  Because this is a "high class" Magnum bar, it's made with rich Belgian chocolate, just like all the others.

Review: Kellogg's Special K Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pastry Crisps

I don't often post these reviews in the order that I review them, so you'll just have to take my word for it that I've been on a big Special K binge lately since they've been introducing so many new products.  It seems like I've been eating them like crazy and I've still got more in my cabinets at home to knock out as well.  So, with that binge, I'm led to this review of the Kellogg's Special K Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pastry Crisps.  I picked up these "treats" at Meijer for around $2.50 for a box of ten.  Well, there's ten crisps spread into five pouch, so obviously there's two crisps per pouch.  Yep, that's me, Crazy Food Mathematician Dude.  Each package of two is 0.88 ounces and 100 calories, so to do some more math, each crisp is 0.44 ounces and 50 calories.  Yep, I'm a regular John Nash.

Review: Balance Bar Bare Sweet & Salty Chocolate Almond Bar

Since I got a free shipment of these from Balance Bar, I've obviously covered a lot of flavors here on the blog in prior reviews.  The good news is that I've only got a few more flavors from that free shipment to review after this one, so I'm eventually going to run out.  Actually, that's not true because I'm guessing that Balance Bar will keep introducing new flavors as time goes on.  Anyway, this specific bar from that shipment is the Balance Bar Bare Sweet & Salty Chocolate Almond bar from their Bar line of bars.  It's the standard 1.76 ounces and it has 200 calories.  It also packs fifteen grams of protein and comes in a revealing clear wrapper.  Fancy.

Review: Kellogg's Special K Southwest Ranch Cracker Chips

Just like most people, especially food bloggers, I'm a schmuck for products that have the "NEW" tag on them.  Working in marketing myself outside this blog, I know it is a tried and true way to draw attention to your product and let general human curiosity takeover so that the consumer will buy your product.  It's that tried and true method that caused me to dive into another one of Kellogg's Special K products and pick up this new product in the Kellogg's Special K Southwest Ranch Cracker Chips on a recent trip to my local Meijer.  A four ounce box of these cost me $3.00 and each box contains roughly 3.5 servings at 110 calories per serving.  How big is a serving?  Well, I'm glad I asked myself that because the back of the box proudly displays that a serving is 27 chips.

Review: New Orleans Ice Cream Company Peach Melba Ice Cream

The epic journey continues as I go onto another New Orleans Ice Cream Company review from the free shipment of pints that I received and that leads me to this review of the New Orleans Ice Cream Company Peach Melba Ice Cream.  Something about the name of this pint hits close to home for me, but I can't quite put my finger on it.  Okay, maybe I can, but I'll try to retain at least a shred of anonymity here.  Enough screwing around...time to dive into the review.  For nutritional purposes, this one is four half-cup servings and each serving is 220 calories.

Review: Voskos Honey Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt

Voskos is a brand that I had never heard of that I randomly found in the organic specialty foods section of my local Kroger one day.  They had several of their single serve Greek yogurt products on sale, so I picked the different varieties and that leads to this review of the Voskos Honey Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt single serving cup.  Like I said, this one was on sale, so it was priced at $1.00 and the cup is 5.3 ounces of "Thick & Creamy" Greek yogurt consisting of 130 calories and eleven grams of protein.  I've already reviewed the honey version of their Greek yogurt, so this one is a slight derivation of that.

Review: KIND Plus Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew + Antioxidants Bar

When I made my initial decision to put an increased focus on doing reviews of KIND bars, I picked up a handful of these at Kroger on sale and I've finally made my way through that handful with this review of the KIND Plus Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew + Antioxidants Bar.  Like I said, this one was picked up at Kroger on sale for $0.99 and it comes in at 1.4 ounces with 180 calories and four grams of protein.  It's more of an antioxidants bar than a protein bar, so that would explain the low protein count.  It's also gluten free and wheat free, so it's free of a lot of things.  Hopefully flavor is not one of those.

Review: Kellogg's FiberPlus Antioxidants Caramel Coconut Fudge Bar

I've been seeing a lot of coupons and sales for these Kellogg's FiberPlus bar recently and subsequently, I've been eating a lot of them and also completing reviews on them as well.  With that, I'm led to review another one of these bars with this review of the Kellogg's FiberPlus Antioxidants Caramel Coconut Fudge Bar that I picked up on sale at Meijer for $2.50 with a coupon.  Each box contains five bars and each bar comes in at 1.2 ounces with 130 calories and two grams of protein.  It's also marketed as having 35% of your daily fiber intake, so I guess you know what that means.

Review: MorningStar Farms Hickory BBQ Riblets

I've done several MorningStar Farms reviews and while I've often found their products to be somewhat tasty, I've often given them negative reviews because of their cost.  In this review of the MorningStar Farms Hickory BBQ Riblets, I'm going to focus only on the flavor of these and just disregard the cost.  What may be expensive/inexpensive to me may be the opposite for you, the reader, so I'm just going forget about that.  That said, I did pick these up at Marsh for $3.99 on sale and each box contains two riblets that come in at roughly five ounces per riblet with 210 calories and sixteen grams of protein each.

Review: CLIF Builder's Chocolate Chip Protein Bar

One of my main complaints in past CLIF Builder's bar reviews has been that the bars themselves have tasted fine, but for what you are paying, you are really getting no more than a Pure Protein bar for twice the price and that is not cool.  So, when I get a free Builder's bar from CLIF like I did with this CLIF Builder's Chocolate Chip Protein Bar, I'm more than willing to do another review because this doesn't hurt my wallet in any way and I can avoid that price remorse bias.  Anyway, this bar is the CLIF standard of 2.4 ounces and has 270 calories with 20 grams of protein.  Somehow, this is a new flavor (when they sent it to me), which I find to be pretty funny since chocolate chips are one of the most basic flavor profiles out there for these bars.

Review: Good Greens Plus Wildberry Bar

If you are a regular reader of the blog or click on this link, you'll know that Good Greens sent me samples of some of their products to try out and review for the blog.  Well, those samples have finally run out as I come to the final review with this review of the Good Green Plus Wildberry bar.  As with all Good Greens bars, it has enough fruits and veggies in its proprietary Z52 Superfood blend to make up 100% of your daily fruit and veggie requirements.  Pretty impressive.  As for the rest of this bar, it is 1.76 ounces, 190 calories and has ten grams of protein.

Review: Turkey Hill Coconut Almond Fudge Light Ice Cream

It seems like I've been writing a lot of Turkey Hill reviews recently for the blog (you don't see them when I write them since I do it so far in advance) and there's a reason for it:  I have a steadfast insistence on buying things when they are on sale and since Turkey Hill desserts have been on sale a lot at Kroger recently, I've been snapping a lot of them up.  It was at one of those sales that I snapped up this 1.5 quart container of Turkey Hill Coconut Almond Fudge Light Ice Cream for $2.99.  Each container is made up of twelve half cup servings and each serving is 130 calories, which is of course less than typical ice cream, thus the "light" name.

Review: Quaker Stila Bits Strawberry Oat Clusters

I've mentioned snack time at my office before and in a recent visit for my 3:00 p.m. snack (LOL), I walked into the break room and laid out on the table was something I've not only never seen before, but also have not heard of before in these Quaker Stila Bits Strawberry Oat Clusters.  So, being the adventurous type that I am (I use that term VERY loosely), I grabbed a small packof these to try out so that I could add to my extensive volume of Quaker product reviews.  Each little 0.70 ounce pack pack is 80 calories of oat cluster goodness.

Review: Kozy Shack Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding

So here we are with another review of one of Kozy Shack's bread pudding products.  I was first put on to their bread puddings and this Kozy Shack Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding specifically in a review by Junk Food Guy, so I've tried to hold this flavor back as long as I could since he already had a review out there.  But, being the comprehensive sort that I am and I'd like this blog to be, I figured it was my turn to put in my two cents.  I picked up this four pack of 3.5 ounce cups at my friendly local Meijer on sale for $2.50 and each cup contains 150 calories per cup.  Somehow, this is also all natural, so it's got that going for it.

Review: EAS Lean 15 Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar

My local Kroger is weird.  They have one section where you find the CLIF products, Zone Perfect products, etc. and then on the completely opposite side of the store near the pharmacy, they have an area where you find EAS products and other types of non-standard products that are more of "medicinal" type products instead of "food" products.  Odd, but whatever.  Anyway, having touched on EAS products before with varying success rates, I picked up this EAS Lean 15 Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar in that "medicinal" product section for $1.00 and it is 1.76 ounces and 200 calories with a robust fifteen grams of protein.  Since it is "medicinal," it's loaded with nineteen vitamins and minerals and if the packaging is to be believed, this bar is going to make me lean and toned.

Review: Atkins Advantage Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar

I'll just get this off my chest before I start the review:  I think that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the most overrated candy that there is (it's between them and Snickers bars in my book).  Don't get me wrong, they are tasty, but the way that people worship them and seemingly include them in just about every dessert that there is kind of irks me.  Reese's Pieces are so much better and people don't even realize it.  Anyway, that little diatribe is just a harbinger of things to come as I dig into another Atkins review with my review of this Atkins Advantage Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar.  I got this one for free via a promotion on the Atkins website, but the rest of the pertinent stats include a weight of 2.1 ounces and nutritional facts of 240 calories with a generous nineteen grams of protein.

Review: Fage Total 2% Greek Yogurt with Strawberry

In my prior reviews of Fage Total 2% Greek Yogurt products, I've got to say that I enjoyed them quite a bit, so I expect nothing less of this Fage Total 2% Greek Yogurt with Strawberry that is the subject of this review.  As with the others, I picked this one up on sale at Kroger for $1.00 and it is 5.3 ounces with 140 calories and twelve grams of protein. As with the others, this is Greek yogurt WITH strawberry as opposed to strawberry flavored yogurt.  Notice the distinction?  I'd like to say that I figured it out quickly, but it took me until this review to finally discover that.  Yeah, I'm brilliant.

Review: KIND Plus Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate + Protein Bar

So I said in one of my previous KIND reviews that I was going to try to start reviewing more KIND bars as they were one of the major bar manufacturers and the only bars I'd ever reviewed were ones that I had received for free via KINDING Missions on their website.  In this effort to increase these reviews, I actually paid for a KIND bar for the first time and this KIND Plus Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate + Protein Bar is the result of that.  Since I did pay for it, I might as well say that I got it on sale at Kroger for $0.99 and it comes in at 1.4 ounces with a fairly robust (for KIND) 200 calories and also a robust (for KIND) seven grams of protein.  It's one of their Plus bars and the plus in this instance is the protein since it has peanut butter and extra nuts.

Review: Simple Truth Peanut Butter Extreme Protein Bar

Being a penny pinching, grocery store addict, one of the highlights of my week is when the mail comes on Thursday.  In that day's mail are the weekly ads for all my grocery stores and each week, I inevitable tear them opening looking for ways to "beat" the system.  This week, my local Kroger (where these products are available exclusively at this point) was pushing several products from Simple Truth and that led me to pick up this Simple Truth Peanut Butter Extreme Protein Bar on sale for $0.79 to review on the blog since I'd never had one before.  It comes in at 1.76 ounces, 210 calories and being that it is a protein bar, it also has 21 grams of protein.

Review: Breyers Blasts! Waffle Cone with Chocolatey Chips Frozen Dairy Dessert

Therapists say that the first step to fixing a problem is first admitting that you have a problem.  So, here I go:  I eat too much ice cream (or ice cream related products).  Of course, the second step to fix a problem is actually wanting to fix the problem and in the case of frozen desserts, I'm not sure I ever want to stop eating them.  So, in that quest to never solve that problem, another sale at my local Kroger led me to try out another Breyers Blasts! 1.5 quarter container with this Breyers Blasts! Waffle Cone with Chocolatey Chips Frozen Dairy Dessert for $2.50.  I've seen a couple of reviews of this on the internet at On Second Scoop and Junk Food Guy that have made me want to eat my hand, so I'm surprised it took me this long to pick it up.  Oh by the way, the container has about twelve half-cup sized servings and each serving is 140 calories.
